I don't understand how mami doesn't repent bad mouthing both Payal and Khushi in a very derogatory manner.

In all this, Nani is the one who should be most ashamed off, because of her age, experience and worldly knowledge, for not defending the honor of the most recent additions of Raizada family, for blindsighting everything in concern for just one member of the family. Does she even have the right to repremand Arnav for the contract marriage, when she had done everything for sake of Anjali just like Arnav ?

Khushi is not safe from Arnav's reach as long as she not leave for Dubai. She will have to change her name and fly , even then. May be she should use her birth parents last name, but sooner the better.

Let’s see how all that unfolds in the coming updates 😉

She don’t need any man let alone Arnav sing Raizada to complete her life. She can find happiness fist make something of herself first and than face them as their worthy opponent.
they all specially Anjali don’t deserve her forgiveness.

I Couldn’t agree more. Let’s see how bad Anjali has to repent to earn her forgiveness. As a matter of fact the whole family actually.

Note/Question:

A very out of the topic question but if some of you have understanding about this please clear my curiosity.

The way Arnav married Khushi in the show was very confusing to me. I mean he just forcefully took her to the temple, tied a mangalsutra around her neck and filled her parting with vermilion, besides that he didn’t even take her signature on the contract papers let alone negotiating it with her. I’ve seen a lot of actors do that in the serials, filling the heroines parting with vermillion and tying a mangalsutra around their necks. Does that make them husband and wife too, or not because they are just solely acting?

Arnav just performed both of these things and declared her his wife, without completing all the crucial rituals. And lets suppose even if it does make you husband and wife, would there be any difference if the other person belongs to a different religion? That was something I didn’t understand. I basically don’t know much about the Hindu religion judging that I’m a Christian so if some of you could clear this out for me, it’d be really helpful.

Love, Ayesha

In reality, just by filling the partition and tieing Mangalsutra doesn't make one a husband and wife, it has to done ritually, with chanting of mantras in presence of priest and above all, in acceptance of your mind, body and soul. In marriages that are forced, there is no participation of soul, but they are bound socially or legally.

So, in serials or movies, the drama is all they show, has no factual backing.

If Arnav has not bound Khushi legally, Khushi has high and every chance of claiming and proving herself umnmarried. Arnav could trap her because she believed herself soulfully bound to him, as she loved him deeply.

Tying mangal sutra and filling kumkum without phera does not constitute a legal marriage.

But people believe that once kumkum is filled it is marriage .

Most imp thing is Hindu marriage act allows annulment if there was force.

I guess it was more concern for payal in the beginning and love for arnav that led her to stay.

@Ayesha: A wedding can be performed in many ways. I am not going to go in to the details.

It is up to the individuals which way they want to get married.

In a civilized society the moral requirement is the consent from both boy and girl.

By simply signing a form in front of the marriage registrar, a boy and a girl can become a wife and husband. This is one type of marriage.

To answer your question, Yes by putting sindoor or/and tying a mangalasutra (which can be as simple as as a cotton thread dipped in turmeric), a man can make a girl his wife. That is another type of marriage.

In the show, Khushi did agree to marry Arnav to save her sister's marriage. She stuck to that verbal agreement/contract.

PS: Actors marrying for drama or a show doesn't make them wife and husband. That is purely acting. Whatever Arnav and Khushi did in the show, should not have affected Barun and Sanaya.

Cheers......
