What impacts your choice to watch a movie in theatre?

The story has to connect to me on an emotional level. That emotion can be anything - happy, sad, ect.

From your options, I'll say engaging trailer.

For me its the Genre first, then my favorite actors/director for sure and if a certain movie has a combination of both then toh its like sone pe suhaga ...I don’t even like to watch the trailers if the movie is of my kind of genre or is directed by certain directors or has my favorite actors, just to avoid any kind of spoilers...

What doesn’t absolutely matter at all is the trailer, which most of the times I don’t even care to watch!

these days, if you pick movies based on actor/actresses, it's going to betray your choices. reviews are business. even dabanng and Sanju were hit.

all promos are engaging these days.
