I voted for Kajol because she was a mediocre actress who got things handed to her on a platter, but even that must've taken a good amount of networking to put herself out there as the "intellectual" actress without completing school and only reading pulp novels.

And Karishma is "winning" this poll? She was a piss-poor actress, but by God, the woman worked her *** off for the position.

Years r accurate as per my knowledge & info.

No one is mocking Juhi that's only how u r thinking here.... Her no1 period actually started around Darr & hhrpk time in mid 1993 & ended with Hahk's release in 1994.

I personally like Juhi as a person just like Madz, so no attempt of mocking here, just stated what's been known.

Madhuri would grab all votes ? Like really? You are talking about the LAST FEMALE SUPERSTAR of Hindi cinema here.

Not all of them are deserving on the merit they have achieved their success,

The most deserving stars to me is deepika padukone on this list. She not only has attained the number 1 status. But she did it on her own and is still a top actress after more than 10 years in the industry.

I do not think Urmila was number one in 2003 .Critically she scored but Barring Bhoot ,all her releases were disasters like Pinjar ,Tehzeeb.It was Preity ...
