Everyone has their own definition of happiness, pain and sukoon. I guess Maya feels that there is no more reason to live after killing everyone because the guilt will eat her and it is only right because you destroyed Rudra's family after all. But seriously this Maya's character has no conscience, she can love a guy but want to revenge his family. So, how does she keep both this aspects apart?

But she had no choice but to marry Rudra cause if she did not MJ would have found her,killed her and all those associated with her. Maya is walking on a thin line and that line can break anytime.

I loved the part where Maya derives strength for Rudra's love in front of MJ. Earlier when she was lovingly touched by any guy, she would get flashes of MJ's torture that he inflicted on her in the past. Now when MJ was again torturing her, she remembers her loving moments with Rudra, him kissing her dark beads, her kissing his white beads. Rudra's light has already started entering Maya.

I liked the name used for characterization of past Maya, Manvi, a human, who made mortal mistakes and suffered at it's hands. I agree she was emotional in love and got manipulated by MJ, and only a human would be so emotional in love. Now that human soul has been charred and only Maya is left. I am hesitant to compare her with any Devi this time, because Maya Jaisingh killed an innocent, but yes there are obvious parallels. Maybe the hadh of humanity put by Rudra's love on her would emerge her out. I love how Vi from Maya's old name and Jai from her new name merge to sound Vijai or victory.

Anyway, so Mrityunjay, is a manipulative sociopathic narcissist who could not accept a no for flowers. You couldn't have said any better. 👏👏 The sad reality is that such people actually exist. 😒 I can't read Maya's game right now, how she plans to go further down her revenge, but MJ is definitely back. He is playing very dirty this time and wouldn't care before hitting his own son below the belt. I have a feeling he would try to induce Rudra's past insecurities that something is cooking between his wife and his dad. I just hope Rudra opens his eyes and finds the dark beads to reach the truth.

I so agree with you. Maya needs to show this Gabbar gang her maya. Otherwise no fun. And she should evidently try to hide that fear that grips her whenever Mrityunjay is around, use bhanak bhi padi na, to woh uss baat ko apne favour me use karega.

Thankfully the writers had mercy on us and kept a few beautiful moments of Maya & Rudra’s unfolding love story...they were like a sight for sore eyes! Honestly after watching MJ it is such a relief to lay eyes on Rudra and see him handling Maya like the fragile little girl that she truly was & still is in his presence.

True, utna maar peet aur gundagardi dekh ke MayRa was a respite. Maya becomes Manvi whenever she is around Rudra. But she shouldn't go off guard. She should always be on alert. At least she should not being in that Raavan ki lanka.

Honestly, had I been in her place, I probably would have died by now. But hats off to Manvi, for recuperating. I want to know who saved her. Why do I feel Mrityunjay's mother has a hand in saving her life? She may not outwardly do anything because of Mrityunjay, that does not mean she cannot. She surely can. She is already unstable, even her relationship with Rudra is somewhat unstable basis the fact that Rudra does not know the entire truth. I guess the promise she took from Rudra, is for him to end her life.

There are other ways to explore and extend the story if cv's actually use their dimag. I don't know what promise maya took from rudra, but man that would be such a burden on him.

As you so tightly put, she needs to be Maya Mehrotra. It's very true, agreed ,Rudra's love is her strength but she needs to develop strength of her own. Agreed, mind games is not her forte, but she has to develop that warna is Mahabharat mein jeetna namumkin hai. MJ will show his dirtiest colours and She needs to fight back with full valour , but for that becoming more dark Maya is imp.

Rudra ke saamne bhale hi Manvi bano but ye logon ke saamne shaitaan. MJ needs to be scared of her, for once. I want to see him in fear. I want Maya to unleash herself on all. They think they are 7 people and Maya is alone. She can be easily removed from their lives but they should get the feels of Maya and that she is as dark as all 7 people combined.

We talk about many moral compasses. Rishi ko Marna nahi Chahiye tha.. Killing is not the answer. Manvi should have understand that MJ was married and blah blah. I agree with you. I just don't want that to be the driving factor behind her strength. She should not be dependent on him. Deriving strength and depending for strength are two different things. She can derive strength from Rudra, but only depend on herself and trust her instincts. This is Ravan ki Lanka. She goes off guard for even a second and these wolves will pounce on her. So Maya can be Manvi in Rudra's arms, but she needs to be badass Jaisingh before those wolves.

That's nice, something new. Never thought of it that way. I know it may be hard for some to accept Maya in the Devi context, but when Kali's bloodlust takes over, she also does not differentiate between good and bad, she just destroys everything down her path. Just like prakriti, which is so beautiful at times and sometimes so ferocious, yet we worship Ma Kali right. That context is applied to Maya at present. Dard aur ghutan se ubhri huyi kaalima hai Maya. Only Rudra's love and Shiv becoming 'shav' brings back Maya's Kali to her Gauri form.

I was so miffed I can't tell you. Is that a reason to emotionally manipulate and damage a person beyond repair. Saying no to flowers is a reason, is so bloody hard to swallow. Why? Because he is some big hot shot businessman that's why. How sick can he get? I know Mrityunjay is capable of hitting Rudra below the belt. Rudra may assume his 'Dad' will not do so again, but Maya knows what Mrityunjay can do, has done with Rudra, and his sick thought process. I think Maya will understand the dirty game he is trying to play and will give it back tenfold. The only thing I want Maya is to let go of her fear of Mrityunjay soon, agar uss aadmi ko bhanak padi na, to daddu game palat dega.

You know there are many people who can't understand 'NO'as an answer. No, Nahi ka Matlab hi nahi samajhta. You get so angry by watching it on screen and in reality it be must be happening everyday in our society !

I really miss Dadi' s character...she was the only one among the army of sycophants around MJ who was brutally honest to his face and made no bones about what an evil person he had become. I wish they would bring her back and I hope she was instrumental in helping Manvi in some small way and steps up to help Maya in the present. She kept referring to his "paap' all the time and that he made them all become accomplices in his crimes. I have a feeling that he made them all help crush Maya and her family in the name of his parivar ka izzat or some such thing. That is why they are all guilty. Dadi's presence would bring back some balance to the equation. Atleast she admitted they were at fault...the others are still busy trying to cover up MJ's ass. Antara is the ultimate example of an abused, doormat trophy wife who is suffering from years of emotional and physical abuse and has no courage to walk out of this relationship.
