Why I am saying this is because he went ahead with his haldi.. and then mehandi and even almost shaadi and we know there are Mayra scenes and song between this wedding thing.. Maya also cannot let this happen.. not just for her revenge sake but also her own heart wont be happy about Rudra marrying someone else.

Somehow even with revenge, MayRa relationship has never built on manipulations.. their interactions and closeness have been set on real feelings only...

If she could just tell him that she loves him.. he will stop this wedding then and there.. than play this mind game.. rudra is seedhi baat no bakwaas
