PART 1

Ishra entered the lift lost in their sorrow and anger.they were standing in the farthest corner not even looking at each other when his phone rang.

Raman picked it and said-yes sir,nahi sir I am on the way.mujhe chutti nahi chahiye,infact I don't need anything other then success.i want this project at any cost and will surely have it.aap pareshan mat hoiye ,ab successful hone ke liye koi bhi keemat chukani pade,Raman bhalla woh keemat zarur chukayega aur successful banega.he said and hung the call thinking-tum dekhna shagun,Ameer nahi banuga.i will be the richest,bahut paise kamaunga aur tumhe aur tumhare uss Ashok ko kadamon par laaunga,will defeat both of u.

He was lost in his thoughts when ishita's phone rang-yes sir,on my way.no sir,don't need any off anymore.waise bhi I don't have anyone to take care of.akele Ghar par Kya karungi.office aa Kar I will feel good.thanks for asking .she said and hung the call and thought-kaun hai mera apna,jiske liye chutti loon.ghar mein toh waise hi ghutti rehti hoon,it's better to go to office.she thought when lift reached ground floor.

Both went out of the lift without giving a glance to each other lost in their thoughts .

Raman went taking his bike while Ishita went in her car .driver was driving her car while she was lost in her thoughts.

Ishita was CEO in a MNC ,she is earning a handsome salary and don't have any financial problem but she is depressed as she is alone in the world.something happened in her life which changed her life for ever,while Raman was just a marketing executive subordinate to marketing head.he was happy with his job and salary but since shagun left him for money and luxury ,he is determined to make more money then Ashok,to be more successful then Ashok.

After an hour,ishra were in their respective offices.raman was busy and working hard to get a project where he can show his caliber while Ishita was sitting alone after assigning work to her subordinates.

She called her boss asking for some work but sadly she don't have any work to do,so she was just sitting idle .

After a while ,poen served her lunch and said-maam,aapka lunch ready hai ,Kar lijiye.

Ishita-aap jao,main Kar lungi .thank u bhaiya.she said softly and sat on the couch to eat.

On the other hand ,everyone in raman's office went to have lunch at lunch time but he was still busy in his work,in polishing his project ,so that it can be selected .even his colleagues told him to have his food but he didn't left his work.

Ishita was trying to eat but after few bites she left the food.

Ishita-aisi kaisi zindagi jee rahi hoon main,koi bhi nahi hai mera.its two years since I am living alone but ab nahi jiya jaa raha .itni buri zindagi jeene se toh achcha hai ki main mar jaaun.yes,it will be better if I die.she thought and opened the big window is her cabin.she look down and people look like small insects from there as her office was on twenty fifth floor.

She look down all determined to jump from there but got scared and couldn't muster the courage seeing the height.she closed the window at once and hide her face in her palm.

Ishita-mar bhi nahi paaungi,itna asaan nahi hai .it's scary very scary.itni takleef hai ki jee bhi nahi paa rahi aur naa hi mar paa rahi hoon.

On other hand,Raman was feeling tired but was still working when the clock strike six.

Peon came and said-sahab ,bahut der ho gayi hai.ab aap jaiye,I have to lock the office premises.

Raman nodded saying ok and soon he was on road thinking where to go.after thinking for long ,he finally went to the place he goes everyday after finishing his work.

He reached the bar and start drinking glass after glass remembering the betrayal by shagun.he shivered in anger remembering how he found shagun with Ashok on his bed and in place of feeling guilty ,she shamelessly left him.

Raman crushed the glass in his hand in sheer anger making it wounded.

Waiter-arey sir,yeh kaise hua.let me clean it .he said and brought the first aid kit.he start cleaning raman's wound while tears were rolling down his cheek remembering shagun's betrayal.

In ishita's house,she was laying holding her phone ,looking at the contact list and the caller list.

Ishita-saare business call,saare business contacts ,koi bhi nahi hai jisse main apna keh sakun,kyun hoon itni akeli main,itni adhuri main .she asked to herself while tears were continuously flowing from her eyes.after laying for long,Ishita slept taking her anti depression pills.

Raman came back very late,fully drunk .he opened the lock with great difficulty and went inside only to see his house in complete darkness.he remembered how he always use to decorate his house for shagun.his eyes got teary remembering how he always make her feel special .

Raman-maine tumse kitna pyaar Kiya ,shagun.tumhari Khushi ke liye sab kuch Kiya,phir kyun mujhe akela chod diya,Kya galti thi meri.kya galti thi Meri,he screamed and start crying.soon he passed out exhausted.

Next morning,both got up and got busy in their daily routine.this waa their daily routine,both living in their grief ,lost in their sorrow,meeting each other in the lift but never interested in talking to each other nor even in asking each other's name.

Today was also a normal day in their life ,but today something is going to happen which may change their life forever.

Ishra were in the lift going downstairs together standing in the farthest corners when the lift suddenly stopped .

Ishita-lift kyun bandh ho gayi.

Raman look at her and preferred to remain silent when she bang the door loudly and shouted-somebody help,lift stopped,somebody please help.

Raman look at her and said-lift chal jayegi,please stop panicking .he said and tried to call the lift man but there was no reception.

Ishita stood for sometime trying to be pateint but was freaking out every now and then.slowly time start passing making Raman irritated and Ishita panicked .

Both start shouting for help but couldn't find any help.

Ishita start sweating and said-now I am going to die,koi nahi bacha paayega mujhe.main mar rahi hoon,please save me,save me.she start panicking.

Raman-listen lady,kuch nahi hoga.kuch der mein lift sahi ho jayegi ,just wait .he tried to calm her down but she was nowhere to listen.she start breathing unevenly like she is not getting enough oxygen.she start coughing and her eyes got teary .she was coughing badly when he came to her and said -dont panic,koi naa koi aa jayega hamari help ko,he was saying when she fell down breathing heavily .

Raman-maam ,ma'am,r u listening??

Ishita-i can't breathe,I can't.i am dying ,dying,she said while words died in her mouth.her situation was getting worse like she got a panic attack .Raman shouted for help but noone was listening to him.

Seeing her breath lessening ,he held her firmly and kept his lips on her to give her mouth to mouth respiration while her eyes were just getting closed .he started filling her lungs with air giving her mouth to mouth respiration while her eyes were still closed.her breath start getting even slowly and she was getting fine.

Ishita open her eyes and both look at each other,Raman thought to withdraw but like his senses lost control over himself .he tried to move away but his hands went voluntarily around her waist ,she too was looking at him like waiting for him to go ahead.he was about to take her lips in his again when the door got opened .

Ishra stood apart and looked away when the watchman apologize for the inconvenience.

Both didn't said anything just went out of the lift lost in each other's touch .
