What is up with the rudeness and patronizing tone in this thread? Are people not allowed to say why they disagree with Maya?

I have a low tolerance when it comes to watching some side character or pawn who adds little to no value in this entire revenge saga take up more than 3-4 mins screen time, combined with her annoying nosy behavior. Hope you got the point.

If you love Ananya so much then you should make a separate post over that, this post is clearly over why I hate her and that is not going to change. Maya is here to take her revenge and she is doing whatever is expected from her as a character. Another reason to hate Ananya is the fact that she is a threat to Maya, given that she is obviously going to obstruct her way by supporting MJ and the Roys.

Doesn’t matter if she is aware or not of what MJ is or not, if you work with a criminal like MJ by being his eyes and ears then you are his partner in crime.

@blue My posts and this thread is not about whether people like Ananya or not, it’s about my hatred for Ananya unless you missed the point. I don’t care about what people who like her have to say or think. Moreover I could ask you the same question, why are you so worked up if there are many people who hate Ananya?

Do I support her and like her even after that, yes I do, because I know her story and honestly I don’t give crap about what you think here. Coming to terrorists, clearly Maya is not a terrorist. If she is then what will you call the Roys? Also when you are at war things like these happen all the time, innocent people suffer, does anyone care? LOL, nothing new in such emotions by the majority of Maya fans. It is exactly what happened in Season1. They somehow find a reason to hate, mock and demonize other girl who is in love with the male lead, Sanjh and now Ananya. When this season started I very well knew this was gonna happen no matter what Ananya does, people will find a reason to hate her.

You should watch the show either without judging any character's morality or judge them equally. What kind of hypocrisy is this where Maya is justified even if she is killing people but Sanjh/Ananya get scrutinized for their every small mistake? For god's sake, they are humans, not god. They feel jealousy, they do mistakes but they never did any crimes. They don't owe anything to Maya and they are not obliged to love Maya. Their crime according to the forum is to not like Maya and ship Maya with the person they love Maya is a killer. Maya was psycho, extremist and killer in S1 and she is the smart, evil killer in this season. She was always a murderer inS1, other's behaviour did not push her to be like that. One can blame every other character like Sanjh, Arjun's mother, the brother for that but Maya is justified, Funny.. Ananya is wrong in entering Maya's house to get proof and by mistake, she pushes her mother so she became bad girl but Maya who threatened Ananya with a gun for such a small mistake is not wrong, Huh

You can have a favourite character and Ananya doesn't have to be the one, but questioning her morality for feeling jealous, being selfish (without harming anyone) and justifying Maya even if she kills is idiotic.

nope, we are not used to mahan saas bahu. We do not even watch the show for Ananya. We like dark Maya-MJ, all killing drama. Stop twisting logic as it suits you. But when you are judging characters based on morality in the forum, killing can not be equated to Ananya's jealousy. The Maya fans in forum always have this biased notion to hate other girls and justify Maya even when it come sto morality. Whatever Maya lost, she can not kille innocent people. Otherwise, we would have laws that will punish entire family for one persons crimes. This si barbaric and inhumane.

i definitely find her annoying be it her character or i love jenny too much

Why do you think in such extremes? if audiences don't like a murderer FL then they automatically want a bechari agyakari fl? it is possible to have strong, dark heroine without bloodshed. I'm not specifically talking about maya. People don' want to see a sati savitri in their protagonist. not a single person wanted a sati savitri lead, they just did not want a murderess.

Again, you are generalizing and making assumptions about the viewers. No one wants a typical SP show. People did not want maya to kill innocents because then it is hard to root for that character. so while such actions are justified in maya's warped view, it is actually not justifiable. it is important that fans don't whitewash her.

People here have accepted maya for what she is, but that does not mean she will be defended or her actions will be whitewashed. I understand her reasons for killing rishi, but it cannot be justified or defended.

Finally, as consumers of entertainment, we are allowed to interpret Maya's actions in our own way. that cannot be avoided. people here have accepted maya as she is but no one is making a light of her actions or saying what she did with rishi is ok. that is the point.

And criticizing other characters does not mean that people are sparing or justifying Maya for her actions. I hate Saanjh because she has been always clingy. But Ananya is not clingy.

Sadly not everyone here seems to understand that, as per them, if you still like Maya or accept her for who she is that is somehow automatically equal to justifying her actions when it’s clearly not the case.

You can disagree with Maya however this thread is mostly about why I hate Ananya and why I want her out.

Keep the discussion civil and do not bash each other or mock each other for being fans of one character or actor over another. I have allowed some comparison, but do not make me take that away and please do not go down the path of namecalling each other just because someone does not support your opinion. Respectfully disagree with their opinions.

I've removed a couple of posts from this thread with the hopes of keeping the discussion going. I do not want to close a thread simply because some people cannot keep it civil.
