But saying that Maya is justified in her action of killing innocent people because MJ killed her child, her father and brother, THAT is not right in my opinion. Killing innocent people is not right no matter what. Like someone pointed out, murderers and terrorists also could be having sob stories but that doesn't mean they are justified in killing innocent people! As far as Ananya goes, she is a very normal girl with normal human emotions, jealousy, selfishness.. If my childhood friend/fiance suddenyl starts ignoring me and confiding in a girl he has barely known for a month, wouldn't I feel jealous, especially if I love him? Ofcourse I would.. as a family friend, prospective bahu of that family, she also is within her rights to investigate if she perceives a potential threat from someone like Maya..yes she is being sloppy and silly about how to go about it.. barging into Maya's house was not right but that's nothing compared to what Maya does or did..

@bold I never said that killing an innocent person is justified. I merely stated that what she did was understandable and I accept and like her regardless. On the other hand what Ananya is doing, that is barging into Maya’s house, and stealing, spying on behalf of MJ and siding with him all the time, that is something that annoys me and I simply cannot like her for that reason, and of course you can’t compare it with what Maya does or did, she is at a completely different level given what she has been through.

I have many mixed emotions.... before addressing ananya, which I know is what the topic is about but I first want to express my thoughts in regards to maya's killing of rishi.

Now I am in two minds about maya killing rishi. I totally understand how and why maya could even think of killing rishi, how she can have both guilt over taking the step of killing an innocent just for revenge whilst still being able to justify to herself that it was something she needed to do. Maya's loss of her child has consumed her so much that tit-for-tat in her mind has become her only medicine for the wounds left by MJ.

She feels the only justice for the murder of her loved ones is by killing MJ's in return. In her mind, there is no other means to justice, and I do not blame her. Would she really get that justice via approaching the judicial system? Whether people like to admit it or not, the law is tilted in favour of the rich and powerful, easily manipulated and corrupted.

There's a leniency in punishment given to not only the rich and powerful, but as a whole the punishment given to offenders whether rich or poor who have committed heinous crimes in actual can never be given a punishment that equals their crime, because the brutality meted out on victims by such criminals cannot be replicated by the law. Serial killers are examples of this, who tortured and murdered their victims like animals but of course no justice system in the world would be able to give a punishment that involves torturing the criminal the way they did to their victims, so no equal punishment for crimes can be offered. That's why taking justice into your own hands by some seems better as perhaps maya feels she can exactly give back MJ what he gave her. No judiciary system in the world could give her that satisfaction.

It's these above reasons that I feel and understand why maya killed rishi as karma for MJ killing her child, hence why I am not completely against maya for it, yet I know a big part of me still knows it was unjustified in that the wrongdoers should directly be punished, not the innocent children of criminals like MJ. What world it would be if children were given a share in the punishment their parents get for a crime? Maybe to a certain extent children do, as when their parent is punished by the law, a child loses their parental figure, but at least that can only be blamed on the parent for committing a crime without thinking of their child, but by directly punishing a child for what their parent did.... the onus of that is solely on the punisher, not the original offender/ parent.

Ananya is right to find maya suspicious because why all of a sudden is maya allowing rudra to be so close to her and behaving with rudra herself on a personal level all of a sudden when initially she herself put up tons of barriers between her and rudra, ananya and everyone, but in ananya's eyes, maya dropped this barrier very suddenly. So that's why ananya wants to know why and what her intentions are. Although yeah I did want to slap her for charging into maya's house, room, ravaging through her things then her being rude with maya's mother. Ananya's anti-maya stance is fine to me, but not her petty behaviour like searching maya's house and all.

You’ve said it all 👏 coming to Maya dropping her barriers with Rudra all of a sudden, that may be suspicious but how does that equate to her being Rishi’s girlfriend? Where did that suspicion arise from? The sketch she saw was just half of what was available, how can she just assume it’s Maya.
