I think it was more coz everyone was teasing Asim and she doesn’t want Asim to get targeted because of HK and Rashmi knows when it comes to HK Asim loses his plot and gets triggered very easily. Also I think somewhere she also isn’t sure of what HK feels for Asim, she realises Asim is an emotional fool like her, so it might be she wants him to be careful.

Oh God agar galti se bhi Rashmi me Asim ko Bol diya na ki be careful with Himanshi- Bhai Rashmi and Asim fandom ki toh major fight ho jayegi

But I'm glad my man Asim is clear in his thought process. Amidst euphoria of Himanshi' news, He still gave answer which Shefali needed. You’re right at this point he hates Asim for a couple of reasons!

First someone he saw in his shadow, has now emerged as a strong contestant.

Second Asim is close to Rashmi and he can’t stand that.

He just hates Asim a lot!

She will NEVER do that nor will Asim.

They both are extremely loyal. We even haven't got to witness so many good scenes of theirs, they are stronger now than we can imagine.

True !!

Rashmi also supported Asim when SZ was teasing her with Mahira ...so that could be her protective side for Asim ...I also loved where Vishal , Asim and Rashmi sat together and cleared things ...just not liking this SidRa drama also not want Rashmi to distance herself from Asim
