A few years ago someone had brought up this subject with him, I assume indirectly. He said movies cost a lot of money and he doesn’t believe anyone would put their money where their penis goes, or something like that. It was shocking to hear him speak like that actually.


As for Shershah, Vikram Batra’s family had approached Sid three years ago asking him to do his biopic. He and the other producer Boxwalla have been working on it this entire time. Sid took the movie to KJo and asked him to produce it and KJo only came onboard after south Director Vishnu Vardhan was confirmed.

Can't wait. I hope the film works for the late Captain Batra. The story deserves to be told to each and every Indian. In fact, all the stories of our young officers of Kargil are hair raising tales of impossible bravery. And looks like Captain Batra's heart-rending love story will be included as well. Just so good! I hope the movie is well made. Now that I have imagined Sid M in the Army uniform, it's making me wonder how much he resembles the late Major Mohit Sharma.
