I think the cvs mentioned it in the promos as well that beyhadh 2 will surpass all limits but we were (speaking for myself at least) so indulged in wanting a Mayra union that we forgot that part and were caught by the “expect the unexpected”. But actually it’s expected if we look back.

Just as I mentioned in another post, no one can justify what maya did but to her it was right and keeping ourselves in place... we cannot take this ITV sort of revenge but if someone hurts us, we will say equally harsh things verbally or mentally and hope they feel the pain cuz we’re not Maya and over here maya is doing the same thing but because this is television and the impossible is possible, the revenge is shown like this.

We cannot equate her pain with MJ but pain is pain. Unable to hold the child you were dreaming so much for, murdered in cold blood just so she cannot enter the house is as bad as killing a son of the enemy regardless of how much time invested. And plus, a mother’s pain is always more because the child rests in her abdomen. Maya probably lost her love and then MJ purposely killed her child so while it’s not justifiable and she obviously knows it’s wrong despite giving herself “jhoota Dilasa “ that she didn’t kill rishi- for her it’s what needs to be done.

maybe she is thinking by doing so it will ease her pain or she knows it won’t do anything for her but will give pain in return which is what her heart desires. It’s darkness and obviously maya will meet her end to and all that but I just feel that she is doing what she thinks is right. Wo bolte haina ek ka karz hai tou unk bachay b chukate hain.

But loving Mayra I can’t help but keep a 0.00009% hope that it will happen somehow. Idk how , maybe he will forgive her (a girl can dream). Maybe he will not forgive her and kill her then kill himself because he killed the love of his life. Maybe she’ll kill him and vice verse

So many possibilities but I’m excited to see next. I know people are saying cvs screwed the story up and yea they should give us a background story soon it’s been too long but we did expect deaths at the hand of maya even if she did give people a chance to live at that point. If we see the example, she could have easily harmed antara at the hospital, she could have killed rishi when she dropped those cabinets. No one was in the office usk neeche akar he can die, she could have drowned antara so we know that someone was going to die but after she’s done with her scaring game.

Anyway loved your analysis and I agree to a lot of points and want to not hope for mayra but I’ll still keep a mini percent hope there :3

I am not disagreeing with what the CVs promoted, but I feel there is a certain inconsistency and I also find the ideas a bit stale. I guess I was stupid to think about it differently, whereas it was very evident what they wanted to show. But now my senses are back on track and I know what to expect henceforth. Just looking forward to what surprises we have next.

I too feel in way when they were saying Beyhadh nafrat we kind of knew it will be her obsession with revenge in this obsession she will cross her limit

But writer tried to normalised her character from the beginning of the show which made audiences confused and made us thought she is maybe a normal girl out of revenge like Durga & Roshini. She isn't normal & has going through mental issues period. ( Maybe PTSD)

I feel her character is more complicated than that . Her mental health was also affected with the whole mess & installed a big Trauma inside her which made her this cold , toxic & shadow of her Tromanter.

We can't justify a character killing someone but I can understand how f***ed up her mind can be that she can sit their & saw someone taking their last breaths , she felt bad , horrible but not enough that made her out of to help that guy. That's show how twisted she become because of whatever she went through.

I failed to connect with her character mostly but I will love to watch where they take her character.

You can't justify a serial killer or their horrific crimes but most of the serial killers have a strong f***ed up background story which made them lost their mind so you can understand how a person become this twisted .

Same for Maya we can't justify or maybe fail to sympathetic towards her but we will get clear picture what she become & why she become in future.

Writers should have established it from the first episode but they keep it & suddenly throw over us which is why it's getting hard to accept .

Rajat as Rishi was fantastic he was amazing . I will miss this actor honestly. I cried like hell in his death scene it was so heartbreaking & painful.

Emotions were to the point but I feel that scene could have done better .

Coming to Rudra's scene I agree. Somewhere I didn't connect too. It could have done better again . Aj rishi ki scene mein itna ansoon behegaya baki kisi ke scenes ke liya ansoon nahi bacche tha 🤣🥺

Like someone said in forum that Mayra is star crossed lovers who will meet with a tragic end that's how it will be & I feel it should be . ( Though I don't want Rudra dead 💔)

The scene was really ironic the person who cause the pain, Rudra had to go to her for solace.

They r going to be my toxic couple 😩❤️

I know they will destroy each other in the whole process but they r going to be passionate & full of intensity.

It will be interesting to see how further this characters develop & what past story they have .

Baki I don have any expectations from the show anymore

Thanks, Anushka😊

We need to wait as to how the story progresses henceforth since Maya has begun her war against Mrityunjay. Because now the story will proceed towards Maya and Rudra. Let us see how it goes.

no wonder movies like joker or gone girl are never made.. even if made will never work..

i will come on this forum to just read your posts.. since they are always neutral balanced and understand the story...

i was one of the very few people who always liked rishi when people used to call him mj part 2... his death was heartbreaking for me..

will miss the actor.. he did fabulous job ..

but today they finally gave us what they promised.. a dark show with dark lead..

and fulfilling the promo line 'pyar ki hadh hoti hai nafrat ki nahi'

and i hope cvs won't ruin the story due to disney-ish type demands of audience 🙏

Hey Amrita, it is not about the Indian audience not deserving a good show. It is about clean execution to something promoted as dark because the planning and scheming Maya has done till now is rather dense and inconsistent. Maya is not a vision of femme fatale which we want to see more of. We want to see Mrityunjay in action, which is not being paid attention to. Conflicting emotions of a dark character is fine, but we want more insight into the past, not just mere flashbacks.

She is a dark character, period. But her darkness is conflicting with her human psyche because her human side is not being able to take the burden of death. She already has a burden of 3 deaths, and now there is one more. The other 3 was facilitated by Mrityunjay because of her, and this was facilitated by her. Let's see how it goes from here.

Unlike even Rudra who went through something bad in his life.. the angel within him took strength and control and kept him positive.. here Mayas Angel is too vulnerable and broken and is unable to find its strength at all.. but on the positive side the angel is not dead, she is still trying to live and come out.. the handshake of Rudra was actually pulling her out until he just left and she was suppressed again.. Rudra might even be successful in pulling out that angel.. but only time will tell wether his love and goodness will triumph or her devil will..

It isn't Rudra's burden to bear. It isn't his responsibility to help someone like Maya. It is enough that he is helping himself, and now he will have to help Maya. Maya cannot heal anymore, because she has chosen this for herself. She can only be freed from this vicious cycle by Rudra because in the end, she will choose to die for love than die for revenge.

Coming to Rishi.. Rajat did a phenomenol job in his short stint..he will be remembered and as well he has a great future as an actor for me.. Rishi kept crying to be taken to a doctor and going short of breath.. it was heart breaking to watch someone asking to live and yet just held to die and that bracelet which fell out in the end, his little token of love for Maya was even more heart breaking for me..

Yes absolutely. Spot on job by Rajat. I was rather impressed by his death scene. He will surely be missed.

Coming to Rudra.. I kind of felt that MJ and Rudra even though ran to find rishi, they were not really expecting him to cut his wrist for real..like Rudra said, it might have been his usual drama that he does for blackmailing , just as how younger ones do.. Rudra was 50% sure that it was all acting and 50% tensed about it being real.. he kept asking him to wake up with the complete hope that this was again rishi drama..but then there was that moment of reality drawn that rishi is indeed dead and that's when he screamed and held on.. I felt that the tension only mounted slowly to Rudra that's why we dint connect immediately to his pain.. I will keep that for today as now its reality and the pain of someone dead has to be dealt with..

Let's see. I think the impact of his death has not sunk into Rudra yet. I think tonight we will see his breakdown with Maya.

Ananya was a tad bit annoying today because she was in her lala land of engagement. She was ok to engage without her family around and she kind of expected Rudra to carry on also without his brother.. that was silly..

Don't worry. Ananya ke la la land ka tel nikalne wala hai, kyunki ab Rudra, Maya ko chodkar kisi pe trust nahi karega. Because tough situation me, wo hamesha janta hai that Maya will be there for him, like last time.

Precap.. bringing rishi back home dead to his mom and I am more interested in knowing why Rudra went to Maya for solace..

Same here.

Lastly I just want to say that this is a thriller story and meant to watched for it and not for any morals.. remember the promo where Maya was hanging upside down and says that unlike all the famous love stories ppl remember , they will remember my story of revenge too.. so brace urself..

Agreed totally.

There wil br lots of hiring as maya'sadist revenge needs people to die. Until she kills rudra or have similar fate for Rudra. I dont if rudra lives or die.. But i dont want maya to live. And i know she wont🙏

There is no mayra for me after this. I dont know how long will i continue watching this show. But must say ..i really loved your analyse. On dt as well as here! You have a wider concept to see things. Nice

I am not excited for rudra and jen hug scene.. Tht moment will actually make me hate maya even more. She used love to get her revenge. An eye for and eye could have been direct but she is coward to use their emotions and not her weapon on them.

I cant wrap my head on the fact that she got many chances to kill brothers if that what she wished for..but she used this?

Now people may say she was betrayed in love so she is inficting pain in same way.. Oh hello!! This two boys have nothing to do with what their unborn brothers mom had faced.

They were genuine! Sad...

Rudra deserves someone better and that someone is not maya😭

Nice analyse👏

Relax Tiara. I know when you emotionally invest in a show, it is very heartbreaking to see something which you did not expect. But I would just say, watch it objectively, without expecting too much.

Thanks, Tiara😊

What a rude awakening yesterday was. Many of us, including myself, held on to that last shred of hope that Maya wouldn't kill Rishi (technically abet Rishis suicide). Not because I don't support her revenge but because I felt that her soul hadn't been that corrupted that she chose to kill an innocent instead of using all the means she had to her disposal to destroy the Roys-financially, socially, emotionally, and legally. But well, I was wrong. Maya has sealed her fate and MayRas fate with her action.

I had prepared myself the day the promo dropped. I already had my awakening and closed that door.

Anyways getting back to being objective about the show. Nice analysis. I will not justify Maya's actions just discuss some things that struck.

Thanks @Armu4eva.

For me Rishi represented Abhimanyu yesterday who was trapped from both sides- his family who controlled his fate and circumstantially led to his imminent death and his enemies (again family), who rendered on him a gruesome and painfully agonizing death. Rishi was stuck in the chakravyu and he had no way out. I believe he had potential to be good like Rudra Or evil like MJ but now we will never know. Funny how Rudras words came to fruition that 'tera ye pyaar teri jaan leke rahega' and how Rishi laughed off that Rudra will die first coz he is older. Well as for Rudra, he better brace up for his own tryst with death in the near future.

True.

The MJ-Maya past reveal. Well O well, finally the cvs seem to realize how important it is to start unraveling the mysteries of the past. They should have started showing this way back but anyways better late than never. MJs evilness was so evident from the scene. The way he crushed the toys as he approached Maya and then threatened her about the baby. I can only imagine what he must have done to her to scar her soul to such an extent. Also, I felt the familiarity with which he touched her hinted that MJ-Maya had some sort of intimate relationship. But let's see.

Dekhte hai, kya hota hai.

Regarding the acting, Rajat and Jen just stole the show. They were incredible. This season has far stronger performers than season 1 and I hope the TRPs are decent enough so we get to see them onscreen for a reasonably long time.

Definitely. They were superb in their portrayal.

Haha! So we lost by expecting something different from season 1🤪 The base same of both Maya with an additional questioning conscience. I wanted maya smart and driven... but this Maya is struck somewhere with extreme motivation of revenge. She don't know how she will get it but she is gonna get her revenge. I can understand this Maya only if editing and execution becomes good. It is so bad that people can't connect with her due to continuity issues. S1 Maya was all about herself and it made it worth watch atleast upto some point but S2 Maya doesn't know what she want or how to get it.

I have too like others accepted the fact that we are gonna see Maya on killing spree as for her inducing physical pain is as much important as emotional pain. If she has successfully separated Rishi from MJ than drived naive Rishi mad, sending him to asylum minus murder, it would have had the same impact on MJ. For him loosing control and support of Rishi would have been devastating . Now MJ will be in pain but now he can easily divert that pain in his own revenge. She gave him that outlet. He has no conscience, killing will be guilt free for him unlike Maya. She should prepare herself for big losses now. She has weaknesses too. She has her mother and Rajiv by extension. I don't really wanna think rn of the moment when MJ will find another weakness Rudra. He is already planning to use Ananya against Rudra. He can easily use Rudra in any damned way suitable for him. Maya really has started the vicious cycle and now no character is safe. If she is ready to kill innocent on other side than in my opinion she should prepare herself for some losses on her side too.

I will watch for what it is entertainment. It just doesn't fit any genre for me. It could be heavily leaned romance at one point and murder suspense thriller another or indian family drama next moment. It could be good if mixed proportionally but due to poor execution and bad editing it is just bland-khichdi right now. I am watching for actors more than characters and story cause I can't connect 🤪😆

A very good analysis.after watching season 1 Maya killing rishi was not a shock to me as I was expecting dark content only when I signed up for this show. Maya of s1 was obsessed with love and this one obsessed with revenge. In s1 Maya need not had to justify her actions some smart writin and execution made it interesting. Her obsession was understood and the actions were inline with that obsession. Here as you said there is lack of consistency of character. The writing is not sharp execution below average. Hence rishi killin is not convincin from story point .second mj is not evokin any fear whereas ashwin in s1 was eerie to say the least. I wanted to feel the scene of rishi death surprisingly didn't feel anything.neither pain nor anger.I was like what's happening. Atleast saanjh evoked irritation in me ananya does nothing. Interestingly story of s2 is better than s1 but writers and technical team need to buck up to correct flaws in execution
