no wonder movies like joker or gone girl are never made.. even if made will never work..

i will come on this forum to just read your posts.. since they are always neutral balanced and understand the story...

i was one of the very few people who always liked rishi when people used to call him mj part 2... his death was heartbreaking for me..

will miss the actor.. he did fabulous job ..

but today they finally gave us what they promised.. a dark show with dark lead..

and fulfilling the promo line 'pyar ki hadh hoti hai nafrat ki nahi'

and i hope cvs won't ruin the story due to disney-ish type demands of audience 🙏

@bold: Agree with you on this part.

Rajat's acting was fantastic.

For me Maya has two versions of her within herself.. one completely good angel and one complete dark devil.. and they are pole extremes.. she has no balance to herself.. her own devil is out there to take revenge for her angel within and that devil perceives whatever it does to be the right thing to do to avenge everything wrong done to the angel.. that's why she cried at one side comforting rishi through his last moment and remembering all the good moments of the innocent soul..it broke at the pain of Rudras scream and went to what it lost in the past ,her baby... and then came the haunting past, MJ who touched her precious belly and in facade of love was abuse and threw her right on the floor killing the life within..and the devil just took over to believe that she was right in bringing MJ down to the same pain by killing his son and that she is here only for this revenge and nothing else..

Unlike even Rudra who went through something bad in his life.. the angel within him took strength and control and kept him positive.. here Mayas Angel is too vulnerable and broken and is unable to find its strength at all.. but on the positive side the angel is not dead, she is still trying to live and come out.. the handshake of Rudra was actually pulling her out until he just left and she was suppressed again.. Rudra might even be successful in pulling out that angel.. but only time will tell wether his love and goodness will triumph or her devil will..

Coming to Rishi.. Rajat did a phenomenol job in his short stint..he will be remembered and as well he has a great future as an actor for me.. Rishi kept crying to be taken to a doctor and going short of breath.. it was heart breaking to watch someone asking to live and yet just held to die and that bracelet which fell out in the end, his little token of love for Maya was even more heart breaking for me..

Coming to Rudra.. I kind of felt that MJ and Rudra even though ran to find rishi, they were not really expecting him to cut his wrist for real..like Rudra said, it might have been his usual drama that he does for blackmailing , just as how younger ones do.. Rudra was 50% sure that it was all acting and 50% tensed about it being real.. he kept asking him to wake up with the complete hope that this was again rishi drama..but then there was that moment of reality drawn that rishi is indeed dead and that's when he screamed and held on.. I felt that the tension only mounted slowly to Rudra that's why we dint connect immediately to his pain.. I will keep that for today as now its reality and the pain of someone dead has to be dealt with..

Ananya was a tad bit annoying today because she was in her lala land of engagement. She was ok to engage without her family around and she kind of expected Rudra to carry on also without his brother.. that was silly..

Precap.. bringing rishi back home dead to his mom and I am more interested in knowing why Rudra went to Maya for solace..

Lastly I just want to say that this is a thriller story and meant to watched for it and not for any morals.. remember the promo where Maya was hanging upside down and says that unlike all the famous love stories ppl remember , they will remember my story of revenge too.. so brace urself..

Writers can give us a morally grey character but they need to follow up with good writing and even better execution.

i apologise for my tone..

but that's the thing right.. they were not morally grey characters... they were dark.. specially gone girl was pitch black.. shahrukh's character in bazigar killed shilpa's character who was innocent...

we have had enough of grey characters on indian tv.. but beyhadh 2 from beginning in promos was about someone who is obsessed about revenge.. makers were clear it was going to be dark not grey...

Maya is still an obsessed and batshit crazy woman but writers gave us a false sense of security by showing us a sane and human maya. Someone who was shown with so much humanity cannot kill PERIOD, it is not that easy to bury our conscience. This is were makers completely messed up, maya's characterisation is fine now but it was wrong in the beginning hence this senseless murder did not have the desired effect.

MJ and Maya's pain are similar but not equal. In a way she has a god complex as well and cannot see anything beyond her own loss. Mj took away her unborn child so maya took away his son- who is also a brother and many things to others. so no, it not equal. Maya your logic is awful and I hope you don't get any peace or satisfaction after your revenge because this death will haunt you forever. maya needs to learn a lesson as well and i hope makers don't glorify her crusade.

More than Rishi's death, I'm mourning what this show could have been. CV's destroyed whatever good writing they did after this senseless act. nothing can justify this. I wanted a strong intelligent heroine who knows her game, here we have a woman who just kills then cries. where is the strength in that?

Thank you for bringing it so beautifully! That’s exactly my point!

Today she killed rishi..then she will kill idhar udhar ke log..

There wil br lots of hiring as maya'sadist revenge needs people to die. Until she kills rudra or have similar fate for Rudra. I dont if rudra lives or die.. But i dont want maya to live. And i know she wont🙏

There is no mayra for me after this. I dont know how long will i continue watching this show. But must say ..i really loved your analyse. On dt as well as here! You have a wider concept to see things. Nice

I am not excited for rudra and jen hug scene.. Tht moment will actually make me hate maya even more. She used love to get her revenge. An eye for and eye could have been direct but she is coward to use their emotions and not her weapon on them.

I cant wrap my head on the fact that she got many chances to kill brothers if that what she wished for..but she used this?

Now people may say she was betrayed in love so she is inficting pain in same way.. Oh hello!! This two boys have nothing to do with what their unborn brothers mom had faced.

They were genuine! Sad...

Rudra deserves someone better and that someone is not maya😭

Nice analyse👏

Maya was always meant to be one. The CVs made us look like fools in believing Maya is different. She is no different. She is the same. And this is just the beginning. I have a massive problem with the execution of her character arc - there is no consistency.

I am wondering how long will she be playing from the shadows. First Rajiv, now Myrah. The only time she will come in front is as Rudra's love interest. Let's see.

What will happen? We all know what will happen. Maya will die.

Silent Reader here...

To be honest I was very thrilled to know beyhadh s2 is coming... Story also intrigued me... But most of allll mosttt of all I liked Rishi alotttt! He was so pure & innocent... No he wasn't spoilt brat he just followed what he thought was right aka MJ, he never saw MJ doing anything wrong he only saw the perfection... He was just a kid! Even if he left maya during the fire alarm so what he was a kidd... He never was a bad person... Neverrr! I'm gonna miss him soooo much...

& I WILL NEVER BE ABLE TO FEEL ANYTHING ACCEPT HATRED FOR MAYA... NO SYMPATHY AT ALL.... (jen is my favorite n i will miss watching her so much 😔)

Here comes an End to Beyhadh s2 from my side...

What a rude awakening yesterday was. Many of us, including myself, held on to that last shred of hope that Maya wouldn't kill Rishi (technically abet Rishis suicide). Not because I don't support her revenge but because I felt that her soul hadn't been that corrupted that she chose to kill an innocent instead of using all the means she had to her disposal to destroy the Roys-financially, socially, emotionally, and legally. But well, I was wrong. Maya has sealed her fate and MayRas fate with her action.

Anyways getting back to being objective about the show. Nice analysis. I will not justify Maya's actions just discuss some things that struck.

For me Rishi represented Abhimanyu yesterday who was trapped from both sides- his family who controlled his fate and circumstantially led to his imminent death and his enemies (again family), who rendered on him a gruesome and painfully agonizing death. Rishi was stuck in the chakravyu and he had no way out. I believe he had potential to be good like Rudra Or evil like MJ but now we will never know. Funny how Rudras words came to fruition that 'tera ye pyaar teri jaan leke rahega' and how Rishi laughed off that Rudra will die first coz he is older. Well as for Rudra, he better brace up for his own tryst with death in the near future.

The MJ-Maya past reveal. Well O well, finally the cvs seem to realize how important it is to start unraveling the mysteries of the past. They should have started showing this way back but anyways better late than never. MJs evilness was so evident from the scene. The way he crushed the toys as he approached Maya and then threatened her about the baby. I can only imagine what he must have done to her to scar her soul to such an extent. Also, I felt the familiarity with which he touched her hinted that MJ-Maya had some sort of intimate relationship. But let's see.

Regarding the acting, Rajat and Jen just stole the show. They were incredible. This season has far stronger performers than season 1 and I hope the TRPs are decent enough so we get to see them onscreen for a reasonably long time.

I get it. Many people cannot relate to Maya anymore, because nothing can justify her killing the boy. But I am not expecting anything anymore. I am just taking it as it comes. I was expecting something different earlier on, but now it is just the same. But the impact is not so strong, because there is someone equally bad opposite her to not make her villainy not look god awful.

True, we just expected too much from CVs. If only I knew I am getting a repackaged version of Baazigar, I would have prepared myself earlier. But, I should have known better. Still, hoping against hope for a surprise.
