It's mostly the movie that was weak. She gave her best. She is one of the best performers of Bollywood. Her beauty and stardom overshadows her acting otherwise she is just as good as other so called great actresses.

Bahane suru jo gaye. Arey koi satellite right etc etc bhi add kar lo. Good that this flopped. The tactics she used for promotion were downright cheap.

Also Biharis donot hate Kanhaiya Kumar that much. They just love Ajay Devgan more. I have some bihari friends who are hard core fans of AD. One of them also like DP and when I asked which one he would watch. His answer was Tanhaji on saturday and Chappak on internet.

For every female lead in commercial cinema, face and figure are assets. Deepika’s beauty is a major part of her stardom. But here, it is not there. People could not see their Deepika in the poster. That was the biggest hurdle, compared to other female lead movies (say like Raazi or Panga). Hence it was a risky project. One cannot compare this movie with any other male/female lead. At max, it can be compared with Fan. Gaurav had a distracting teeth. But Deepika’s face is another level.

Call us viewers immature. But we also need some entertainment/escapism along with content in weekend.

They even tried taking credit of from srk movie CE to claim it ran because of 😂. The only actress who had real starpower is Katrina kaif which she hits with John Abraham, imran Khan and now alia bhatt, DP is overexgererated as well her average facial looks.

DP is beautiful? Sure she is tall and has good body but her face is average.
