Maybe Rudra left the door open.. But biggest loophole is Rudra and Ankit did not see spot each other when Rudra was exiting and Ankit was entering.

The door has a passcode, i think it can't be possible that the door remains open for this duration(a few seconds even) we have Maya has set fire alarms in her house because the say MJ finds out, he will go after Nandini first, so she'll do anything to safeguard her, and step 1 will be using doors that do not stay open for a jerkface to enter
