Rudra may be losing his mind, but that is because he is trying to block himself from falling for Maya, which he is miserably failing at. He wants Maya, which his heart understands, but his mind still needs to align with his heart.

I agree that he can go Beyhadh in love, but not the Maya Mehrotra way. He may take his time to accept his love, but the day he does, there will be no room for Maya to escape. Rudra will not let her. He will be like since you have pulled me into this path of love, you have to walk with me, whether you like it or not. He will be extremely possessive about her, because of his previous experience, as he cannot see her with anyone else. And also he will be very protective, as he will not let anybody's eyes fall on her - neither Mrityunjay nor anyone else. We cannot really judge what kind of a lover he will be because we haven't really seen that side of his. But I don't think it will take the psycho direction.

In the future, he would join the dots and get to know about Maya's game, which is when he will know Maya's whole story. But what and who he will choose, we will have to wait for that.

Going by the latest promo, he might back off from that intimate moment with Maya, because his mind is not willing to accept that he has fallen for Maya. And Maya too may take it as a form of rejection, which she may not accept and term it as her loss in this game, which is why she will also back off for some time. But this time Rudra will not take this backing off lightly, and probably be forced to accept that he is crazily in love with her.

But how will Rishi be eliminated from this equation is what I would want to know. Maybe Mrityunjay would have a hand behind this. He would send him away, just like Rajiv told Maya the other day, Baccha hai wo Maya, bhaag jayega.
