Actually they did have a hush-hush discussion on the blue sofa in the garden area about taking a step forward in their relationship. This happened on the day Paras came back from SR. Now that Paras is back tracking, Mahira who always blames others for seeing bad in their 'pure friendship'does'nt know how to react.

i am so confused, a few days back Mahira shouted at the top of her lungs that han main pasand karti hoon (or something like that) and today this whole nautanki of we are only friends.

so paras basically called mahira out by saying yes we are friends, aren't we? either you also come out openly and say you have feelings for me and I will do the same, or we just stick to being friends and I have my gf outside.

When the house received food, paras hugged aarti because aarti kept crying and her lover didn't even come to her but paras came to her. The food was sent by paras gf that's why he will distance himself from mahira now. I always knew mahira had feelings for paras and acted like him touching her and kissing her was bothering her when in reality she liked the attention. That's why last episode she said I also want attention

I didn’t watch the epi yet..just a thought is it possible paras has seen Rohit came to patch up Sid n Asim and now paras is thinking what if Sid n Asim get together again he will be left with no trp celebrity..first he was with Rashami then Sid now he is thinking Sana..n Sana is crazy for him..maybe he is making way for Sana and him so at least he can reach finale..
