Fact.we can never run away from our past. We can only face it. Either fight or forgive and close then move on. As long as we run the past follows us like a shadow. Today Maya wore a mask while rudra had none. The mask of Maya was symbolic of her hidden truth whereas even without mask rudra too have a hidden truth. Maya is fighting her truth behind the mask and rudra doesn't need mask becoz in all possibility he is gonna face the past head on. Today Maya took rudra away and allowed him to touch her. She didn't had any fb when he put that button. It showed Maya is slowly getting comfortable ard rudra albeit her plans. Unknowingly she trust him. Whenever rishi touch her she washes herself with pumic stone as if cleansing herself of that touch. With rudra it's not happening. But the question is what's the past. I don't think Maya loved mj. If yes antara givin her something.not possible. Someone else in the family.mj ka bro whom mj destroyed for his enterprise along with Maya and her family when she questioned it. I feel Maya ka lover has something to do with enterprise of mj.

I loved that the entire entrance & party scene was created at Mayas behest. She is the storyteller, she is the planner, the executor and much like her idol the mayavi. She smartly pulled Rudra away but in trying to lure him, she feels affected too. The flashback was amazing.

I loved today's eoisode.

She lookee so naive and innocent in the flashback scenes..the roys must have done something really terrible with her

Looking forward to see more flashbacks to know how maya was wronged.

Moreover she has already entered the chakravyuha ...whether she will free herself from it herself or she will require help will be seen next week.

I agree with you Shruthi, chances of maya being MJ's lover are slim from my side too. She was in love with someone else who was connected to MJ and his power his status his money. The flash forwards kind of shows that Roy family took maya under their wings as daughter. Antara gifting her, diya welcoming her lovingly, dadi's love, a brother, all indicates she was loved. I can't exactly join all the dots, still a huge chunk of information is missing. But for now everything is linked to Rudra according to Maya. She said ye Saare raste tumhari taraf le Jaa rhe he Rudra. Tumhari wjh se Mein is party Mein hu.

What is this link between them? She is not repulsed by him but actually more of herself in his presence. This 10 years past is connected to them both but not also as it is indirectly linked through MJ. Everyone in Roy's can easily identify Maya but Rudra /Rishi can't. So confusing.

Maya is indeed masked towards her past and like u said Rudra will take it heads on.. But also there was one thing she said that what binds her to the Roy's was Rudra.. it might have been also in the past..

The flash backs gave me a feel that either she was a alliance for Rudra and cheated off.. Rudra never met her for sure.. Or MJ was having an affair with her.. Antara is a shallow person it's highly possible she would have accepted their relationship also just like diya in her life.. Maya was a kid and too naive to understand that she was wrong..

I tried entertaining the thought that he was studying abroad but then what about all the parties Antara said Rudra used to organize for MJ. And this party is somehow connected to Maya's past too. Without more flashbacks we can't conclude anything now.

Rudra is trump card and wild card too. He will make her question her ideologies at some point in future. She might not like it but as she said mere or is duniya ka bich m tum khade ho Rudra. He is the only one who can help her save herself and connect her with the beauty of the world again. He will also never let her fall again and shield her from all the evilness in the world. So he is a bridge as well as shield.
