Which actress do you admire for staying away from flowerpot roles?

I can only think of 4 mainstream actresses -- Sonam, Kangana, Priyanka and Vidya Balan -- who have more or less consciously stayed away from flowerpot roles. Whom do you admire most, leaving aside talent and just focusing on the script choices?

Since u mentioned leaving aside talent I voted for Sonam..she has consciously tried to stay away from such roles and did only what she believed in..

Getting constant flak for her acting, being mocked for her opinions and hated for being n industry insider..she took it all in stride and kept working on projects she liked.

If flowerpot role means insignificant i will say:

Priyanka has Zanjeer(I haven't seen it) and Krishh 3

Sonam did Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Sanju

Vidya didn’t choose to be different , she never looked like flowerpot to be offered such roles . She is good actress, so she took different roles

If she had choice of Flowerpot roles and still stayed away , I would give her credit

She tried there were movies wher she was in and she wasnt that essential. LRMB, Ghanchakar. Her dancing in Hey baby 🤣

Another one for PC where screentime was much less than the hero was Kaminey. But she is lauded for that one. Great performance but airtime was low

We can only give them the credit if they were ever offered such roles in bigger productions and have rejected them....Otherwise it can only be attributed to the of lack of a choice which I think is the case with all of them.....

what was kangna in krish ?? what was sonam in PRDP and Sanju ?? even PC has done a few and so has Vidya......... so none of the list......

Vidya for sure.

Her roles are always a delight- at least those that I've seen her in.
