Maybe its just me but Mehwish did not only fall for Shahwar's money...she was impressed by his charm, attitude and class - whatever he had on the surface level. She has always looked at Danish as a loser..for her Shahwar seemed like an achiever in life in front of Danish. Also she was made to believe that she deserved a better partner than Danish..first by Monty indirectly and then by Shahwar..

I also dint feel like she wanted to leave Shahwar..she was forced to leave him..she even went to meet him in jail..he turned out to be sissy and a loser eventually and her arrogance, disdain, dishonesty and lack of basic compassion and nicety for Danish lead her to this place now.

Monty ke paas bhi to paisa tha but monty never proposed to her directly...Mehwish was always hesitant but Shahwar was cunning and caught her weakness which was money...he trapped her using her weakness only

Plus shahwar was more direct with her so she had no reason to stay with Danish anymore when she was getting a ready made rich proposal
