The most cringy thing for me is when the FANS use TRPs as a defense for their favorite. That's when you know that there is nothing to root for. Shukla has displayed pathetic narcissistic, aggressive, violent, kamchor, insecure, manchild behavior in the show. Yet, he is good-looking and his 'aggressive' streak is exciting for people. They live vicariously through it because in their real lives, they want to be like that, but can't because of social implications. When a society raised on Bachchan movies, hyper masculinity, and gundagardi in the name of politics sees a contestant like Shukla they can't help but admire him. And they use 'ratings' as the reason, even though realistically speaking, ratings are dictated by audience preference, but here audience preference is being justified by ratings.

Another example of this:

Salman Khan fans who say things like who cares about script, acting, story, bhai ka picture 300 crore ko kamalegi! 😆 When art, ethics, subjective realities and opinions are justified in the name of business, ratings, box office collections - stay away from those people because alot of times, they themselves don't know why they like certain actors/shows/movies/contestants.

chahe kisi ka dil toote, ghar toote, hosla toote, ungli toote ya whole body toote, bas viewers ko entorrtointment chahiye.

channel and makers ko TRPs chahiye, TRP ke dwara aaye paise chahiye.

vakeel saab ko weekend pe aaye hue Big fat cheque chahiye.

and contestants ko income aur career dono chahiye.

itne paison ke beech mein ethics kon dekhta hai. koi nahi?

For a TV channel giving the content that public demands is a matter of ethics.

Getting TRPs that justify the income from adverts is a matter of ethics

Ensuring that theres is enough income for the channel and production house employees is also matter of ethics

Why not talk about the ethics and morals of the viewers who watch the show for all the spice it provides?

I agree because I am PhD in biotechnology. Neither smoking nor burnt parantha causes typhoid. Typhoid is caused by bacteria Salmonella typhi. But smoking can worsen typhoid. Kya rashmi apne sath bacteria lekar ghumti hai ki Shukla k parantha me daal du.

I already talked about that why audience like people like Kabir Singh and Siddharth Shukla??? What is our mindset

People are tired of seeing real world 24/7 they come to Movies or TV to watch fantasy not the real hard life. And if that fantasy is named a reality, they just love it. Bcoz They want that fantasy to be real in their lives.

If you show the real world, there will be no viewer, it's not entertaining.

Rashmi may be a typhoid carrier for all that we know and she may not be aware of it.She may have had typhoid in the past and still may be carrying the pathogen.

Smoking is injurious to health but it's definitely not implicated in worsening typhoid.

I've seen HMs dipping their hands into sugar container atta containers.Not even sure whether they wash their hands before commencing cooking.

I saw some housemates cutting vegetables without washing them.(I have seen Shukla washing the veggies before chopping them though)

Ethics and morals viewers should also be blamed not just the channel.

May be she is a carrier to Shukla hi infect kyu hua? Maybe uski immunity weak ho smoking ki wajah se. Par ghar ke baaki logo ko kyu kuch nahi hua??? Usne kya bacteria specifically Shukla ke liye apne andar se nikale aur especially us jale paranthe me dali kya?? Par kaise?? Kya bacteria isolation ki koi machine rakhi hai BB me

For the last time on this topic. If Shukla had typhoid it is definitely because of the conditions in the house and the food too.

Who knows?He may be the index case and they gave others typhoid vaccine.They all seem to be getting regular medical help so it is possible that the others have been getting preventive treatment.

As for smoking he is not the only smoker in the house

Who knows how the paranthas are made?I wouldn't like to eat the food cooked by these housemates for sure.

I don't want to state my profession but I am a qualified health care professional with more than a decade of experience

Even news channels nowadays don't follow ethical behaviour, though they're supposed to champion the truth, so zero expectations from an entertainment channel.

We're the fools watching such shows coz of addiction.
