BB needs to step in a very crucial matter regarding Shefali. Ab Paras ke liye committed relationships like with his gf give him liberty to be a sanskari playboy in BBH but marriage means a woman should wear a pallu and sit docilely in a corner.. waiting for her husband's letter. 😭

As I saw it, she was explaining her distance from Asim now. She's saying she never was really close t him. And it was all for her friend H's sake.

And Asim knew she never was trustworthy. They both have issues with each other now.

If Shefali wishes t distance and decrease hugs with men - to improve her 'reputation' - she wouldn't be sitting with head on Vishal's shoulder etc. So, the explanation is regarding her soured equation w Asim and not really about clarification about hugs.

We all may see it differently, of course.

But Paras' maligning of Shefali (no fan of her actually) is ott and sad. And BB broadcasts it happily.
