Sandy, I finished Jack Ryan s1… I realized there was only 8 episodes… the ending was quick, simple and unsatisfactory in a way… all that buildup from episode 1 to 8 for the villain did not lead to a thrilling end… it was a flat ending for the villain.

On another note, season 1 of Jack Ryan was mainly filmed in Montreal… 52 days… the internal part of the house where Ali ( Suleiman bro) hides after he gets shot and the internal part of the mosque were all shot in a Montreal studio. The alps mountain scenes, the gas station where the brother shoots the police officer and the chalet were all shot in Quebec (outside Montreal)… Dr. Muller ( Ryan gf) research lab and the last episodes hospital scenes were shot at the Royal Victoria Hospital ( the hospital was closed down few years ago and now it’s being rented for shooting and used as animal shelter)… A sum of around 311 000$ CAD was paid to shoot only at that closed hospital. The metro tunnel chase in the last episode was not Washington metro station but Montreal metro station La Concorde. I only found out it was filmed here when I saw Quebec in the credits after it ended… then searched the filming locations as I was curious.
