He wanted Bhau to be contender if Rashmi didnt want the letter. Captaincy comes with immunity and privilege of saving/nomination. Why give such an opportunity to a new comer that too one who would most likely not even be put in nominations or will easily get saved due to previous connect with viewers.

I like Asim but i didn't like whatever he said to Rashami n Shefali.

He is doing what BB likes that is 'taking a stand'. Coincidently both times bhau lost out. Did Shefali really have a reason to 'jali padi meri'? I mean what happened to her that she got so mad about? Who tf is asim to decide who will be captain contender lol , bhau himself is the least interested in captaincy. Vikas can be 1 day old but he is here to play and has equal rights at winning this task.
