Did I say that I loved your essay? I am glad you started this one, and I am totally in love with your piece. The title, I stole it from the Youtube description of the original Halla song. I don't know whether you remember my obsession with Amit Trivedi or not, but this ace music director makes every song worth my investment in terms of time. Whoever chose the song for Jinn's entry needs a standing ovation!
Did I say I LOVED Arhaan's entry? Damn the anticipation that GK creates and her hero/villain entries are always right. This is one of the best entries just like RB's. The song elevated it. I am quoting your post; this is what exactly I felt after watching the episode.
His emotions were ranging from freedom, smirk, intrigue for a human form, eyes welling with tears at the exact moment with the song, a sudden rage and his walk part mixed with anger and intensity.
Every second of the screen presence had beautiful expressions. I could see a shaking palm when holding the green light, a jaw arching upon tears welling up. This man still surprises me even years after watching him as Krishna in Pratigya.
Sure as hell, this was the best entry in recent times just like RB's grandeur in that good for nothing show. If only I could explain my obsession with this song now🤣
Gul has a knack to make everything cinematically grand. She was the pioneer in bringing the sexual chemistry quotient on ITV BIG TIME with her canvas of brooding heroes and naive yet headstrong females. It was like watching your favourite fan-fiction on TV. The adrenaline rush, the sexual chemistry, the passion, broodiness all weaved on a glossy celluloid canvas. She has aced that genre and makes your heart beat faster every time you go through that experience.
She has taken it a notch higher up with all her shows.
I feel he isn't pure evil. He would have his own humane moments. I am so looking forward to this. Our love for unrequited/unfinished emotions is similar. I am waiting for his grief, rage, pain, passion, evil, & love, & as you mentioned for his 'PAIN OF PASSION'.
That's what I would probably like to see. I am a little hopeful as the Jinn could have been introduced as a monstrous or older one. But, here we have Arhaan, as handsome he could ever get! His range in Villainy and Grey is scintillating. So, I would like to see a slow burn!
Now coming to the topic POSSIBILITIES, this show has so many possibilities.
Ayana and Sifriti Jinn have lots & lots of possibilities. And I am so looking forward to their scenes more than Aman-Jinn scenes. Their scenes would have the TASHAN that I am already so excited.
They have a past of 8000 years. So much to know, so much to reveal, so much to explore. So so many questions to be answered.
The reason for their fight in the past?
Why he was defeated only by her in thousands of years?
How Aman is involved in this whole past?
Roshni's past & her parents & why she is left in the river?
Why & how Roshni is Ayana? We know how Aman became half jinn, but no past of Roshni is revealed till now.
Why only Ayana can help Aman from Jinn?
Roshni still doesn't know anything about her powers as Ayana. How and when would she get to know it?
Why Jinn couldn't make Aman as full jinn & take with him? What stopped him from doing it?
Why does he need Aman? For what purpose? Does it only to fulfill his demand which he did to Junaid or he has any other reason?
Where is Junaid & what is his past from his pov?
How tabeezi is involved in this? If I am not wrong, she might be the second woman in Junaid's life. If she is, she might also be wronged or there is a completely different story of hers.
I really wanted tabeezi to know that her daughter's friend Roshni is Ayana. When will she get to know this?
The possibilities and the questions are INFINITE like you put out so well. Tabeezi is Daadi's daughter, I guess, and Ayanah is Tabeezi's daughter. I am not sure, but this could be a possibility.
I just finished binge-watching the show sometime back. And all these questions are still running in my mind. It's really great that I haven't used my forward button much for this show, which says so much about this show's story & editing👍🏼.
Hahaha, true, I haven't used my FF button in the longest time for this show. VFX and CGI are BRILLIANT!
And our Dushy is also here. But very limited scenes🤔. I wanted more scenes of him. Hopefully, we would get it when they show the past.
I believe Dushy will make an entry when he is REQUIRED to. I am waiting for his re-entry too.☺️
