The epi starts with everone celebrating baishaki, dancing and enjoying…At home, People are drying mangoes and some woman say this year the produce has been good..teji says its all the seasons, they give and they take..Heer comes there..Teji stops her and tells her to call Manmeet and cofirm that he is coming in the evening…Heer hesitates..Teji tells her she does not know how to use the phone and all thus heer needs to do it..Heer agrees and leaves..
A girl is leaving in a hurry..her mom, working in the yard with teji stops her and asks where she is running? The girl says its her friends Bday today and she needs to go else her friend will be ver upset with her, her mom asks as to why? The girl says since her Bday comes once in 4 years…her mom is all confused..the girl explains tht her friend was born on the 29th of Feb…Teji listens to this and stops what she was doing..and remembers the date when she and gayatri had taken heer and prem to a dargah and ask the peer to say something about the future of the kids…the baba says the kids look like they are made for each other….the baba also says, the fourth time they will meet again…the 16 years from now, when they will meet again….Teji says people say what I say always comes true, I put my words on yours..tht 16 years from now when they meet, we will get them married…the baba leaves and teji and Gayatri keep looking…
In Canada…Prem comes down and Gayatri tells him to call India and inform Mr.Mehta that they are coming to India and to send for a car…Prem dials the number..at the same time..Heer is also dialing some number , I think Manmeet's….they get into a cross connection..and heer says hello….Prem says Hello…who is this? Heer says this is me..Mom told me to call you…prem is all confused…Heer continues her monologue (I hated her dialogue delivery here..its like she is reading from a shopping list , no emotions, no feelings, no expressions..arrgh!!) and says ma babaji were asking for you..and asks Prem how he is and how his parents are, Prem says they are all good..he tries to interrupt but Heer continues..and says I wanted to confirm that you are coming tonight for the fest, else Ma babaji will be very disappointed…Prem tries to tell her tht she is mistaken..heer says Ma told her tht pairs are made in heaven (girl! How is tht even remotely related to your current conversation???), and that God some how makes the connection…you know right, my relation was to happen with someone else, but now its with you..Ma baba are a lil worried..if you come, they will be reassured….Prem listens…and says your parents are right…I believe them too…but the thing is I have never met you..Heer is confused..Prem says, this is a cross connection and I am not your Fiance…heer says, Oh okay, I will keep the phone now and you please don't call on this number ever again..she hangs up…Heer keeps looking out of the window….Prem smiles…Gayatri asks why he is smiling…Prem says it was someone from a cross connection..but her life is also like mine….she was to get married to someone else and now its with someone else….Heer in her room is standing..teji asks if she spoke to him..Heer says no..it was a wrong number..teji asks how come she spoke to a wrong number for so long…Heer says she didn't know and even he didn't say anything..but she felt tht those few minutes they had formed a reltionship…Teji tells her to come out and meet her Baba..he is back…Prem and Heer are lost in thoughts..Prem though..looks amazingly romantic and keeps smiling to himself (*Sigh*!!!! Haye mein marr jawa!!!)
Everyone is running aournd..Teji thnks..why Veerji isn't here yet…some work men come and talk to Teji about advance money for the work they are doing.Teji says Veerji has gone to Ludhiana to get the money and they will get paid the moment he comes back..they all leave..Teji goes back to sad…
Everyone is dancing for vaishakhi and the marriage celebration…at the same time in Canada..the trio brothers are at a lounge with disco music and all..preet and harmeet seem to enjoy, but not Prem…Heer is sad Teji comes and asks whats wrong? Heer says she is feeling bad that everyone is enjoying the vaishakhi but they cant as their produce got burnt..Teji reassures her that the rituals are just a part of life..what is important is that next year the same time…she (Heer) will be married and setteled and everything will be alright..she further reassures Heer…Heer is convinced..and Teji tells Heer not to worry and jut prepare for the marriage..Heer leaves…Teji looks on worried….
In canada, Preet is dancing in the night club..Prem looks on…Harmeet is talking to some people…Prem then sees Preet yapping…Preet comes to talk to some guy…Preet asks his friend hows India? Since he was there recently…how are the girls? His friend says, the same, ghunghat and ghagra choli types (tu mil mujhe, mein dikhati huin tujhe ghaghara choli types kaisi hoti hai!! Belan hoti na mere paas to ab tak tera sar phod chuki hoti!! Why does ekta wanna show tht ghaghra choli or ghoonghta clad Indian woman is a bad thing??? Wht nonsense! ) Preet shamlessly asks his friends, whats underneath the dresses in these woman?(Haawww!! Besharam!!! Tauba tauba!! LOL) His friend is confused and asks him what does he mean by tht..Preet again reiterates his qestion..and then laughs and clarifies as to if the women are beautiful or not and they both laugh….he notices Prem and goes to him..and asks as to why he is not enjoying since there are so many young girls around (yeah, like he cares! He is thinking of me you moron! hehe) why isn't he dancing with them..they all want to dance with him..he further tells Prem tht if he dances with them, then those girls would want to eventually dance with him (Preet)as well…he tells you ae gonna get married now..to some girl…Prem looks at him sternly…yeah its dad's choice..so must be unique…you remember the car dad bought..the whole of Canada knew about it…Mom also must be Dad;s choice (dude! Is tht a compliment or an insult to your mom???) Preet goes on to say God knows how tht girl would be tht Dad selected for you, this is our last night here..come on lets enjoy and Preet drags Prem into the dance floor…Both Prem and Heer and caught inbetween other ppl dancing and seem disinterested….and then Prem leaves the dance floor…Heer does too…
Veerji and Meher come…Teji tells Meher to go in..Veerji also leaves…teji tries to stop him, but Veerji keeps going in…He says hello to the guests and goes to his room…in his room..he sits and thinks how is he gonna say it to Teji, her heart will break, heer's engagement will break..how will he tell the truth to all..he is worried…..
