I know a lot of people think that South/Regional cinema is better than Bollywood and that all our stories come from there and even the actors are better etc but...at the same time I dont think we can ignore the limited reach of the industry. Does anyone care for it?

Not a lot of people speak those languages in the world - as much as Hindi speakers. Other than Bahubaali i dont think that South industry has any influence or impact on the global market - do people outside of even India even watch these movies?

Nobody even knows people from the south but everyone knows who Priyanka is or who Hrithik is. I cant even name 5-6 stars from the south and the fact that so many of them end of migrating here is only proof that Bollywood is bigger and better.

Rajinikanth is the biggest movie star in India despite not being from Bollywood and has die-hard fans in Japan.

No body knows South Indian stars is an old concept, especially post the South Indian movies especially Telugu and Tamil movies, hijacking the television and YouTube.

Allu Arjun, Prabhas, Vijay, Mahesh Babu, NTR Jr, Vikram, Ravi Teja and Ram Potheneni have become really popular among North Indian audience along with Bangladesh and Nepal audience, and let us not forget the biggest star of them all: Brahmanandam

I don’t think most people outside of india even know the people that you listed. I’m talking about things from a global and influential perspective

Global audience only knows Kjo's and YRF's Bollywood with SRK giving his arms wide pose. So them not knowing South Indian movies, isn't really a lose.
