I think so too. Makes total sense. I hope she remembers his words in a positive way. I can't wait to watch this dream sequence now. I think it will be sensational. Plus the fact that I know AD went through so much trouble to get to Manali to shoot it.

Well children do go away to study and it's not forever. At this point when mini told him about it, it was not like mini wasn't going to come back in vacation and all. She may not now after her fallout with babita tomorrow. But HS couldn't have preempted it today itself. I thought he would be devastated if mini goes off angry on a bad note never to return. But looks like he cannot bear to stay away from mini even for few months. This is the first time HS has expressed how much he needs mini inspite of having babita around. Cut back to the time when babita was leaving haveli and Mini was upset about it and HS was trying to cheer her up he will come anytime she calls him. shows how his marriage with babita has taken a toll on him. He is only going through the notions. At least mini was there for him to share his feelings now even she is going. I wish mini too has assured him that she will be there with him always like he did with her before.

I think Minnie herself is just mentally exhausted. She kept telling HS it was for her career but you could tell she just didn't have the energy to deal with all this anymore. Sometimes going away is the best solution.

Yes, they could have explored his track in a beautiful way but the drawer shutting was it. It was all there, Gur. He knew what the future held for them. Also, I think the writers wanted to leave his backstory with us in an 'if only' mode.

It's just ironic that Babita said a few days ago she'd forever feel guilty if Minnie were to leave because she couldn't give her a loving home, yet we get all this. She doesn't deserve this at all.

Right now, HS has ended up in a similar kind of marriage as Babita had with Ashok, hollow, empty. I just cannot believe this. He won't be able to do anything about it. I think having Arya would be a good distraction and I see him again taking on a major part of the parenting and potentially shielding her from being taught in Babita's ways.

What loving home Babita?? Har baat pe Minnie ke saath jagra karne lag jaati hai. And instead of presenting her views rationally, she'll go off on a completely different tangent or throw on a tantrum of some sorts. Yes, she's the mother but Minnie isn't a kid anymore. She has to speak to her differently and evolve her relationship with her. Instead, Babita became hell bent on putting her into a child box and making sure she stays there forever. Also, the lack of interest in Minnie's life is so appalling to me. How do you not even know what subject your own child is passionate about?

I can definitely see HS devoting his entire life onto Arya. It's no wonder why she's carrying around the police doll and not something generic. Even the attitude she carries is strikingly similar to HS, not Babita.

I think Ashok's letter triggered all the latent fatherly feelings in HS that he'd tried to step back from. Since then, if you notice, he has been like the old HS, defending Minnie and support her.

In a way, he's finding himself again but losing her at the same time. For some reason, it looks like HS knows..

He's upset because he knows that he's going to lose the chance to bond with her in her prime years and when she comes back she may or may not want him in her life.

In some ways, but in many no. Of course I'm not speaking for him, but there are many things about Nia and her dad that stand on their own.

Yep, his aakhri umeed is gone. It's different when a loved one passes away because you know that they can't come back, but Minnie is very much alive but so far from him. I completely agree that he's just going to 'survive'. If he wanted to, he could have emotionally blackmailed Minnie into staying and methinks he may have even succeeded. But he won't because he loves her as his child. I once again remembered the scene where he was telling her how fathers want their daughters to do better than them. He knows that he can never give her that kind of life or opportunity with his modest income and that she deserves this chance.

I just got thinking and don't take this the wrong way... When HS was talking about the kaunse janam ki preet, bandhan, etc... They finally showed us what soulmate means.

I always believed mini mickey ka soulmate is only from mickey s side. Mini isn't yet In Tune with his feelings, happiness n all. Mini hasn't got the chance too to understand and help him out.

With HS mini it is more on an equal level. They are in tune with each other completely. And understand each other completely. They are also kind pulled towards each other.

Yes that police doll. These CVs and their attention to detail, I tell you. They have clearly thought season 2 through very well, which makes me wonder if that's why they got distracted while writing the past 40 episodes or so.

Considering the fact that Hanita are going to die before Minnie comes back, then yes, her farewell for me is forever.

Also, the way the post leap promo played out, it seemed as if Minnie never came to visit in those 5 years. Otherwise, there wouldn't have been such heavy differences in terms of likes/dislikes or ownership between the two sisters.

You know, there are families where children bond with their 'step' parents much more than their biological ones, to the point where you can't even tell which is which.

Ultimately, I think they are both lucky to have each other in their lives. It's just that no matter how much they love each other, they are carrying too much baggage from their past to be able to fully embrace their future.

I know Minnie's outburst regarding the audio clip was difficult but in many ways what she said came true. HS had good intentions but this 'love' spoiled everything. The CVs said the wedding was just the beginning but turns out it was the end of it all.

Yes she needs to go away and make her career obviously. Also she needs a break from this babita drama but that dosent mean she needs a break that she dosent even come back and meet them once a year. Infact if she dosent do that its going to do more harm than good for her. Sometimes you need to get away but not so much that you completely loose touch. She has her grandparents, her friends, NB, HS. Babita se break ke liye she cannot forget all these relations. I hope CVs make the transition to season 2 more realistically than showing mini not coming back for whole 5 years
