Naira the “other woman”....another atrocity bestowed upon her

So they’ve officially reduced Naira to being the “other woman”...everyone in the show including karthik has given vedika the status of karthiks wife,.. today naira suffered the insult of Pallavi ...the goenkas themselves have reduced naira to just being kairavs mom..who is acting like their daughter in law in order to improve the relationship between their son and grandson,..but they made it clear that their real DIL and their sons real wife is Vedika. And once karthik and kairavs relationship improves and their real DIL returns , naira can get out of their house and their lives,, I hate what these makers have done to karthik and naira...and even more I hate what they do to naira constantly.. Really, as a woman myself I’ll never take this kind of nonsense from anyone. The makers of this show have reduced the heroine to being a doormat that can be trod upon and used and discarded whenever and wherever. Is this the message they are sending out to society,. Even an educated woman who comes from a privileged background must face these kind of atrocities.....Naira and karthik could have taken kairav for play therapy and counseling and improved his anger issues and Relationship with karthik..but instead she must viewed as a home wrecker and low woman. How much further will this show regress to..many women in real life still face atrocities from their husbands and in laws ..and this show is showing this ...😔

Apart from being kaira fan...i am disgusted with the change of characters they have shown. Especially naira...she was so fearless...and the rights of what is right...and what is wrong is wrong type of girl. Even if she was brought up by no one....she did mature beautifully....before marriage. And after marriage they slowly dragged her and now she is use and throw human. This tells us nothing but how a sasural can break or make a women. And that is utterly horrifying for girls who are not married. I imagine the girls of age 18-25 seeing this and thinking that how its a womans job to do everything for their in laws and the in laws can treat you however you want. They wont let her breathe...and for kartik...i am no longer attached to both these characters.

They have degraded naira to such a extent that she is no longer thw naira i used to look upto. I dont know what is wrong with makers...but thwy are loosing real fans...but sadly Indian aunties lov3 these types of bahus who do everything for their sons...and become a doormat and trp is increased. Our society will never change .... and trp going up shows how viewers love degrading naira and making her doormat for goenkas.

And like you said young unmarried women watching this show would be completely put off marriage seeing all nairas problems..

@Bold , this would have made this show class apart and something which other mediocre regressive shows could look upto. I have been saying these stuffs again and again only to be countered by few with illogical and non sensical arguments. Anyways , when you look back to the past episodes, specially their first wedding which was so pure and beautifully filmed, the kind of promises Kartik made for Naira , how he will keep her and how he will love her the same way her own family does, I really feel heartbroken and sad , how badly they destroyed such beautiful buildup. These makers are sadists and cruel, they dont give a damn about ruining their own wonderful creation, its really pathetic.

You know i yesterday only saw a trailer of a movie of kartik aryan ...it said pati patni or woh.

The trailer wo do regressive and disguisting about how a women who is sanskari is not able to keep her husband happy and he is " forced " to cheat on her....and the women he cheats with is wearing short clothes and is full of makeup...and he is smitten by her.

There is another dialouge where he says that how when he gets sex he is the one who is rapist and he had made a joke out of marital rape which is still legal in our country....and people only a few were aghast...everyone else had such a good laugh...and it makes me wonder will we ever progress ??

I am telling all this here because i had such a high hopes from serials like yrkkh...but they made a mockery.... apart from me being a kaira fan....i have never loathed any loved characters this much... they could have show brilliant progressive tracks... about how fathers are equally taking part in kids childhoos or how emotional and mental health is not taboo but a truth...or how women who are questioned by their husband..do not need to keep their mouth shut and they can be angry or hurt. They could have shown us naira raising kairab and whT all a single mother goes through...that how consent is important in a mans case too. That how women cannot usw their rona dhona to trap men into sleeping with them....( vedika )

And you know what, its really disappointing how there are few woman, who might be mothers and wives already , comes in defense of every non sensical thing they are showing. I know its a show , but you cant keep going with sickening patriarchy and objectify woman in such shameful way. I strongly objected about the video call thing , and there were few who said Kartik has only eyes for Naira and he can see her like that and blah blah. I was like seriously, is this your logic. But now i know why they are stuck with this shitty track, because there are many among we Indian women who really appreciate this kind of regressive portrayal of women.

I have a request to make to the makers,it at all they read these posts . I was a regular viewer of show and the forum but never felt the need to voice my opinion until last month. I felt its enough now, they started sabotaging the characters arcs big time. I dont know how many times i need to say the same thing to make the makers to listen. Please please please dont kill yrkkh, still there is room for revival. Think something really creative, think to bring back the essence in true form, not the forced or convenient one . I know people having the viewpoint like us might be very few, but we are also audiences, a part of your show since ages 🙏.Kindly Respect our emotions and the show you have made by your sweat and blood. Atleast respect your own wonderful creation guys please 🙏

Tbh, the storyline doesn’t bother me much now because I am no longer connected to these characters. Kartik and Naira are not Kaira atm, they are only Kairav’s parents. Unlike the first time, they have accepted the divorce and the fact that Kartik is married to someone else. Naira, at least, feels guilty for coming in between a married couple but Kartik? How can he not acknowledge Naira’s feelings and how much it must hurt her to hear that Kartik is married to someone else?

What was his reaction today to Pallavi’s taunts? He told Naira not to listen to her and only to focus on their son. Isn’t that a bit selfish on his part? If your ex wife is putting her self-respect on the line to mend your relationship with your son, the least you can do is assure her of not being the one in the wrong. Why can’t he tell Naira the circumstances under which the marriage happened?

I feel bad for Kartik as a father but Kaira have failed as a couple. Since Vedika is not there, they have brought Pallavi as her replacement to make sure Naira is reminded of her place in Kartik’s life again and again. As for Kartik, he doesn’t care what anyone says, be it Vedika, Naira or now Pallavi. In the pursuit of only caring for his son, he is intentionally or unintentionally hurting two women and that’s not alright.

Naira is no saint either. Despite everything she still hasn’t once apologised to Kartik for separating him and Kairav. They are in this mess because of her choosing to run away. She took those early bonding years from Kartik and Kairav. She prioritised Vedika over Kairav’s happiness and decided to move to Goa which started the custody hearings.

Now that Kaira are civil towards each other, I hope they have a proper conversation in which Kartik tells Naira the circumstances under which he got married; his guilt for Vedika’s father dying because of him and the family’s emotional blackmailing. Naira, herself, won’t tell Kartik about Vedika’s suicide drama and the taunts but I hope he learns about it from the Singhania’s and knows Naira’s intentions of wanting to go away.

Coming towards the track, I would suggest just watching the show for Kaira if you can or stop watching altogether. The episodes will be getting more illogical from this point on. Kartik would disguise himself as a sardar because Kairav would insist on ordering a new father. As for me, like I said, I try not to read too much into the right and wrong now. I watch the show for Kaira. I enjoy their dreams even if they appear to be immoral to some. I am also looking forward to them being together in the same house and for Kartik disguising himself. It’s stupid and nonsensical but it might provide the much needed comic relief in the show. In the coming episodes, everyone will be going for a picnic. I hope we get some cute Kaira scenes there because like I said, I only watch the show for them now. Indian tv serials are the last thing you should watch if you are expecting reality or life lessons.

This is my personal opinion and people might disagree. We are only wasting our time and energy in trying to make sense of the show because at the end of the day, makers will do what they want to till the time they are getting the ratings.

Am glad the TRP is falling and no wonder ! Frankly the sardar ji new papa track is even more ridiculous! I think unless the writer changes — nothing will happen! These writers are so Regressive.
