but why shud it be embarrassing? he has had movies cross 100 crs, 150 crs, 200 crs, 250 crs, in his short career his movies have made alot of money which is an achievement, wen a movie of his does cross 300 crs then the next level will be 350- 400 crs, when does it stop?

its this box office obsession which is damaging the industry, instead of making quality films people are chasing box office, i'd rather they made quality films over box office, what shud matter is that the movie just gets the hit tag, but nowadays thats not enough, if the movie is a hit but doesn't enter a certain crore club then people see it as a failure, which is ridiculous

It's embarrassing because 🐅 debuted after Ranveer and Varun. Quality films are also made because of these 300 Crore films. If commercial movies don't make huge numbers, producers will not invest in content films either.

Atleast Ranveer came pretty close with Padmaavat, but Varun? Forget 300 Crores, he's yet to cross even half of it through his movies. In case of commercial films, as long as the film is a box-office success it is okay. It is important to see the budget of the film before seeing it's box office success. I mean, if you are making 300 crores from a 200 crore film while some other 50 crore film is making 200 crore then obviously success of 50 crore film is bigger .

Even Salman can't drag a bad film to 💯 Crores. SOTY 2 was a rejected film from the trailer itself and wasn't 🐅's genre either.

I am happy as a Ranveer fan with whatever club Ranveer is in. Bas uski movies hit hoti rahe❤️ zero jaisa haal na ho.
