This Ankita Mehta embed Taran's tweet as a reference in the article and called it a "hit" on her own, which Taran himself never did LMAO. Spare me. Don't try to school me on box office. 😆 AGAIN no ACTUAL trade analysts (TARAN, BOI, Komal, KOIMOI etc. ) called those movies as "HITS" but strict successes as they are. Might as well refer to Pinkvilla next.

Give it to Kareena guys. She has managed to stay at the top of her game even after Saif and Taimur. Succeeding as a mainstream commercial actress at 40 is not that easy.

Neha has just one talk show BFFs with Vogue and one Bollywood Podcast NoFilterWithNeha! That's it. She's hardly seen in movies!

Genelia also has quit BW.. she does cameo only.. that too in Marathi movie.. that too.. in her husband Retiesh's movie.. a dance number!

Kareena is still doing very well.

Forget them, they aren't Kareena's league. Look at Aishwarya, Kajol, Rani and her own sis Karishma. They all stopped acting or offers declined after marriage and kids but Bebo is still going strong. For me, she is the most successful married actress career wise.

The point is ..her career is not 'over'..she continued doing films and is still getting offers after motherhood. Bit of a success even lies in sustaining a career ya? Even the biggest of superstars have had a bad patch.

And it's not nepotism.. Deepika's career isn't over, Anushka's isn't, Vidya's isn't. They r still doing movies at their own pace but offers haven't stopped coming.

Kareena is more like Kajol . excellent actors but mostly did commercial, bankable movies. Did few offbeat ones like chameli, omkara, Dushman, etc. But their talent shone through. They do what they want and when they want without thinking what others would say. And both r happy

FINE, ABOVE AVERAGE, is still a success no? In the producers eyes, and Bollywood’s eyes, her film made money. Everyone made money, it’s considered successful. She continued to get offered. Does veere is her more recent film which has cracked the biggest opening for any female centric film. And clean hit. So how does anything change in my argument? She’s still successful and has a film lined up with Aamir, one film lined up with Akki. Big A list films.

Exactly, Kareena is considered by all measures and definitions to be a successful Bollywood actress and an A lister, still getting and doing movies with A list stars, still relevant. So let me rephrase my earlier statement, Kareena’s last five films were ALL SUCCESSFUL, most recent film being the highest opening for a female centric film. There. Does that make any different?

She keeps milking and milking and milking her marriage, pregnancy rants even after 3 years ... how desperate is she?! No other PR move now that Taimur PR has died down?!?
