A) As I said earlier, BOI has always undermined collections. In other sites those movies are considered hits.

B) Yes Sonam should also get credit for Padman, why not? She was in a successful film wasn't she? Who cares how little or big her role is?

If a measure of an actor is based on the success of a film, then give that actor credit when that film is a success. Either way, a film's success requires the coming together of so many factors such as music, marketing, timing of release, budget, etc. So yes, when it does work and is a hit, all actors better get that credit instead of being discredited.

Exactly! She did some amazing work lately that was also successful, as listed above. None of her past 5 films were flops, they were successes, if you wanna get into the technicality of BOI, then sure. Nonetheless, success and well received both critically and by audience.

How is that even remotely close to a career taking a dip? A lead film with Aamir Khan and Akshay Kumar? Those are all A list films.

Shes still managed to stay relevant in every way. Whether its her looks, her brands, reality show, radio show,2 upcoming movies and now a Netflix show? She hasn't vanished and shes at every frikin party so yeah kudos to her for not letting her passion die.

This Ankita Mehta embed Taran's tweet as a reference in the article and called it a "hit" on her own, which Taran himself never did LMAO. Spare me. Don't try to school me on box office. 😆 AGAIN no ACTUAL trade analysts (TARAN, BOI, Komal, KOIMOI etc. ) called those movies as "HITS" but strict successes as they are. Might as well refer to Pinkvilla next.

The box office doesn't matter, especially not for actresses. They hardly lead the cast so who cares. A lot depends on genre anyway.

Their bankability is seen in a different way- how many big movies they continue to get, what kind of ads they are getting, how relevant they are and how much interest there is still in them.

Kareena at 40 is doing amazing. She is still bagging big films, still considered a top actress, and the audience is still interested in following her goings on.

To put it in a nutshell she is the classic product of nepotism who is slightly talented works hard at her body and quite lucky.

Exactly what was in my mind. She showed talent with JWM. She showed attitude with 'pooh'. She showed her body with 'Tashan' & many more...

Actress of that age should have already won many national & filmfare awards but count hers ...

She is just an average/below average actress, who predominately works with much popular male co-star and ONLY with successful movie makers to increase her chance to claim a hit movie.
