She is a South Indian , we don't have Karwachauth.

Ranveer is Sindhi not Punjabi and I don't think either Sindhis or South Indians have this custom.

Dear Dharma-graduate,

Karwa chauth isn't any mandatory Indian festival.

Don't generalize it. It is done by some communities in the north like UP, Punjabi and I think Uttarakhand.

It's not that common.

Let her do what she wants. It's her private matter

Not everyone celebrates karwa chauth. And even amidst communities where it is prevalent, people can choose not to celebrate. Its a choice not a mandate.
