The tears in HS’s eyes in that moment mirror her pain. Without a word spoken by him, you can sense how much he identifies with her pain in that moment....the pain of having a father who only brings you shame....the hate she’s expressing also coming from a place of deep pain. Aniruddh and Ashnoor are too freakin good together 👏🏻👏🏻

As for Babita....lol actually she wasn’t too happy about Mini showing that trust in HS and not her....in the next epi, she told Mini she was hurt that she didn’t express her hurt to her mom and instead chose to do it with her Hanuman Uncle....Mini apologized and said she’d never do it again 😆

Oh that scene gives me the feels. They both aced it, and you could see their connect because as you said HS truly knew exactly what she was battling with and how frustrated and disappointed she felt because of Ashok's activities.

HS has always had a way of making her let go and open up to him without needing any ultimatums or provoking. He just needs to go back to being that way again.

Loll, I was able to let her go yesterday because of Lala. He was the life of yesterday's episode for me. Par aaj Babita toh alag level par hi thi. Her so called patch up with Minnie was so hollow. I think with the CD incident, not only did HS fail to trust Minnie but on hindsight I think she also failed to trust his good intentions when he apologized, in the sense that she's still holding it against him. I don't think she's doing it intentionally or holding a grudge but deep down she's afraid to trust him or let her guard down as she used to in the past because she's afraid of being disappointed or hurt again.

She’s not holding it against him. I wouldn’t characterize it quite like that.

She’s vulnerable because what he said to her was huge....so she’s afraid of putting herself out there again for fear of being hurt again by expecting something....It’s not a grudge or holding something against him....it’s self preservation.

He’s doing the same thing....self preservation. There are no grudges on either side. Just hurt and vulnerability.

like to add if HS had come and even spoken to her properly before he got the proof she would not be feeling so hurt. that he needed the real cd as proof to trust and and come and talk to her is what hurts her most

Yes, that interim period when he neglected her because he was caught up with Babita has added to the hurt settling in.

The fact that he didn’t even think once of how his words may have left an impact on Mini....and to some extent I understand cuz he was busy reeling from Babita acting all crazy and saying mean things to him too....but the fact that he neglected Mini in that period....it’s added to her impression that he really didn’t trust her. So now she hesitates to trust him to that extent as well.

Even after the GP epi, if he had made more direct efforts to keep the channels of communication with Mini open, she would have felt reassured and regained her trust in him.

But his neglect of Mini in that period, his inability to balance had to have some consequences 🤷‍♀️....all actions have some consequences.

HS-Mini don’t deal in ultimatums. That’s always been Babita’s modus operandi😆....that you better do something for her or she else will be upset. She holds people hostage for being worried about upsetting her 🙄

I don't know, she is kind of holding it not against him per se but the image she had of him being her perfect hero. The fact that he didn't live up to it and disappointed her is what bothers her but maybe she doesn't realize it.

Self preservation is a strong instinct indeed, especially when you have been hurt the way these too have. Even if they take baby steps towards each other, they will get there one day. I want them to do it for each other, not for Babita, or Ashok, or log kya kahenge.

Yes, this bothered her a lot... It was so out of character for HS, but oh well. I hope next time something happens he shows his unwavering trust in her. She will see the difference and will warm up to him slowly.

Yes, and I think he finally sees all that. I hope he's going to slowly make amends and work towards the future instead of lingering on the past.

@bold, that's the thing here. They both need to stop worrying about "Babita kya sochegi". So what if she is upset from time to time? She has to learn to hear bitter truths.

She shouldn't be treated as a victim anymore.
