It was such a beautiful episode. It felt like HS was peeling back layers of emotions that probably even Minnie had forgotten about. The feelings and hurt this child had hidden all came to the surface just because she was in the presence of her Hanuman uncle.

When Minnie lost the fight to her grief, pain, hurt and humiliation, HS was hurt and cried right with her. He looked so broken because his Veer Balika was hurting. His brave girl.

Do you remember how while crying with her head on HS’s chest, she keeps repeating in that scene how much she hates Ashok?

The tears in HS’s eyes in that moment mirror her pain. Without a word spoken by him, you can sense how much he identifies with her pain in that moment....the pain of having a father who only brings you shame....the hate she’s expressing also coming from a place of deep pain. Aniruddh and Ashnoor are too freakin good together 👏🏻👏🏻

As for Babita....lol actually she wasn’t too happy about Mini showing that trust in HS and not her....in the next epi, she told Mini she was hurt that she didn’t express her hurt to her mom and instead chose to do it with her Hanuman Uncle....Mini apologized and said she’d never do it again 😆

Haha really? She fried my dimaag yesterday only 😆.....she was so blank in the scene with NB yesterday only that I didn’t have any expectations left from her to understand anything while patching up with Mini. Lol

Exactly! HS was also recalling his childhood and repressed grief/pain. These both are a wonderful set of actors and no matter the state of PB, I will always be glad we got to watch them together. Oof, these two can make me feel so many emotions within minutes.

Babes has always been hot and cold about some things. She asked HS for help regarding Minnie because of the drug case herself, didn't she? Jo thoda moments I see her being an actual mother to Minnie, I get happy with (or pre-Imarti court case scenes with HS + the starting few PB catering/ other jobs episodes).

Loll, I was able to let her go yesterday because of Lala. He was the life of yesterday's episode for me. Par aaj Babita toh alag level par hi thi. Her so called patch up with Minnie was so hollow. She was remembering what Naeem Bi told her but it really didn't seem like she actually understood a single thing. Aur jo bhashan yeh HS ko deri thi, my god. Manno ki yeh gift ni bhoola par kissi ka qatil kar ke aara ho.🤪

As for Babita....lol yeah hot and cold is the phrase. Even before the HS Mini scene, she didn’t directly ask him to talk to Mini then....he had to coax Babita a lot to tell him what’s bothering her and when she said she’s worried about Mini, that’s when he asked where Mini was and went to her.

She wants his support but because she has had Mini all to herself for so many years, she doesn’t know how to really share Mini with anyone else....she gets jealous very easily. Lol

This difference is clearly shown in the last two trust issue. In the CD issue, HS was wrong and he apologized for that. Has Mini forgiven him? No.

Babitha called her second woman and didn't even apologize. Does Mini keep any grudges? No.

I understand Mini's pain and I completely agree HS has faltered in maintaining their relationship. But the boundaries of their relationship can be decided only by Mini. She should first make it clear to him what she expects from him.

@bold this is what HS realized on the wedding day and it broke him.

I have different opinion about HS being love stuck but I am not saying he is doing right. He is clearly at fault here. Being an adult he should reach out to her. I also understand Mini's pain. But what I can't accept is her keeping grudges for something he clearly apologized from his heart. He was clearly ashamed of what he did and he accepted it. Why can't she accept his apology and move forward. ? One mistake from his side nullifies everything he has done so far?

The truth is she never trusted him enough to share anything about herself. Their relationship had always been one sided where HS bared himself to her and she remained closed. Now why does she expects him to know everything and act like a father? If you want people to treat like a kid then behave like one. I understand with Babitha she has to be a mother so the facade. What's the need to pretend infront of HS who had always treated her like a kid? Unless she stops hiding behind a happy face , she can never have a true relationship in her life.

I think with the CD incident, not only did HS fail to trust Minnie but on hindsight I think she also failed to trust his good intentions when he apologized, in the sense that she's still holding it against him. I don't think she's doing it intentionally or holding a grudge but deep down she's afraid to trust him or let her guard down as she used to in the past because she's afraid of being disappointed or hurt again.

What a coincidence cuz I just rewatched this scene yesterday and it’s so fresh in my mind....the way she broke down and told HS to keep Ashok in jail and not let him out at all...give him punishment. And the way HS responded saying ki haan jail mein daal dunga......the amount of TRUST between them hits you hard in that scene....the way he coaxes her into expressing her pain and she just lets go and crumbles into his arms. It was beautifully portrayed. These two just make my heart full

He needs to be that pillar for her again, not for Babita or log kya kahenge, but for his Veer Balika. Knowing Minnie, she will come around eventually when she feels secure that he won't hurt or distrust her again. It will take time.

The scene you mentioned is one of my all-time favorites.

Sigh... it was a truly beautiful scene, especially the way it followed right after Babita had referred to Minnie's state of mind because Ashok and she had khoon ka rishta.
