Subtitles even though they aren't always accurate. But dubbing kills the essence of a movie.
I like subtitles in a sense you can hear the language/accent which makes the shows look and sound authentic! .... Tho subtitles also mean you miss out on many frames and details of a scene, which I HATE! ... 😭 ... It's a lose/lose situation ... 😭 ... subtitles, but jab options nahi hota toh kiya kaare.
Dubbing as reading subtitles distract me
I prefer dubbed Anime
Dubbed Telugu movies
Subbed English Films
Subtitles.
That said , i want dubbed version when I want to show South movies to family , unfortunately they only dub trash masala movies like theri etc , most good movies still don't have them after 3-5 years.
Dubbing, because you can pay attention to the scene, body language and it keeps the nuances of the lines. A good dubbing artist makes it worth the watch

Depends on the content.
In case of anime , dubbed . In case of South movies, dubbed versions. In case of European languages other than English, subtitles.
Subtitles any day Except when family is also watching.
