War has dancing, action, big heroes with biceps that can strangle me. On paper its more of a money maker than Sanju despite who the directors are.

Well Hrithik's movie is giving people a different kind of WOM, so if this is his big record breaking grosser, then he needs to deliver and surpass Pichkari, No one is going to take him seriously if he cant beat a Ranbir Kapoor movie.

Even Krrish 3 failed to beat YJHD. Hrithik is used loosing with Ranbir.

Sanju is hit bcos it is based on real life events..to which ppl always give grand reception. Sanju's is a huge case in 90's..all that court drama and all..ask ur parents. It is no diff. to the successes of URI, Mission Mangalyan..on the surface they may look diff. but they are not..they are all realistic event films.

It happens even in south..A film that is done on so low budget..Goodachari is a hit..bcos it is about terrorists. Same with Sahasam.
