Before entering Fame Gurukul, Shamit Tyagi was very confused about his career. He was working at a call centre and he wasn't sure about making a career in the music industry. After staying in the Gurukul, Shamit became a lot more focused about music. All his efforts towards music were being properly utilized. Fame Gurukul made him a star worldwide. He feels he's become more responsible and his fans have lots of expectations from him. Shamit got to meet well-known music directors whom he had only dreamt of meeting. Today Shamit is financially stable and is satisfied with life. Shamit was the highly popular and controversial contestant who faced the eye of storm with the jury on several occasions.

Mona is currently studying Music Honours from Delhi University. Before entering Fame Gurukul, she was also learning Music from Gandharva Maha Vidyalay. Inspite of not having a musical family background, her parents always supported her. After staying in the Gurukul, Mona made 11 life long true friends and also gained a lot of knowledge about music from the faculty members. Due to her fan following, popularity and stage show offers, it has become difficult for her to attend college lectures. Mona always wanted to become a play back singer and in order to fulfill this dream of hers, she has shifted her base from Delhi to Mumbai. Her dreams are on the verge of coming true. Mona was the surprise package at Fame Gurukul who blossomed into a fabulous performer and received adulation from the jury members.

Arijit Singh always had interest in music, especially in classical music. Fame Gurukul gave him a new direction in life. After Fame Gurukul, Arijit got a lot of respect and love from not only his family members but from his fans all over the country. He's got to meet a lot of music directors without using much effort and he's already got more than 20 stage show offers. Arijit has shifted from Murshidabad to Mumbai in order to make his own mark in the music Industry. People who did not believe in him have started to respect his singing capabilities. Arijit has been receiving international offers as well. He is also supporting his family financially. Arijit would have never received the fame he got if he wouldn't have been a part of Fame Gurukul. Arijit's talent was recognized by the faculty, jury members and his fellow contestants which made him a top favourite singer at Fame Gurukul.

Before entering Fame Gurukul, Anubhav Suman was a student of Faculty of Music and Fine Arts from Delhi University. He completed his diploma in "SANGEET VISHARAD" from Gandharva Vidyalay. Anubhav always wanted to make a career in music. His life became a lot more disciplined after staying in the Gurukul. He became focused in life. In the Gurukul, Anubhav learnt about voice modulation from the faculty Padma and Prashant. He got a new identity after leaving Fame Gurukul. Fame Gurukul gave him instant recognition and he got lots of offers from the music industry. At the moment Anubhav is financially independent. Anubhav's unusual voice made him stand out amongst his competitors.

After completing his B-Com from Delhi University, Rahul Saxena shifted to Mumbai and was struggling in the music industry. After receiving enormous publicity as a contestant of the popular music show, Rahul got his due recognition. Rahul has already sung songs for Sajid-Wajid, Jatin-lalit, Ismail Darbar, etc. Rahul has also done more than 40 stage shows in India as well as in Dubai and Bangladesh. Today Rahul is financially stable and his supports his family too. Rahul Saxena was the highly talent contestant who exited the mega musical talent hunt prematurely and shocked the nation.

Before entering Indian Idol, Harish Moyal used to work in his own fabrication shop in Ujaain. He had received a national award in Gazhal Singing in 2002. Then he started his struggle in Delhi in order to make a music album. After becoming a popular face in Indian Idol, he got enormous fan following and respect from people all over the country. Indian Idol brought a complete change in his image. He has done more than 50 stage shows all over India. Currently Harish is doing a music album with HMV. His Life struggle has become smooth after his success in Indian Idol. He has always been financially independent since 2001. Harish's chocolate boy smile won him a huge fan following during Indian Idol.

Ravindra Ravi was a painter in Ludhiana for about 12 years. He has received love and respect from people all over the country. After his success in the mega-musical talent hunt he never looked back. He has done a lot of stage shows all over the country and is currently doing a music album with Juar Vattal. Today, Ravindra is settled in Mumbai and is satisfied with life. He even supports his family members financially who are staying in Ludhiana. He would have had still been a painter in his hometown if he wouldn't have had auditioned. Ravindra Ravi won the public vote for a record number of times and truly epitomizes the rags-to-riches dream of every Indian.

During the auditions, Prajakta Shukre was studying science in class XII in Jabalpur. She has been singing since the age of 4 and she has always focused on singing. She has also received "Lata Mangeshkar" and "Jagjit Chitra Gazhal" award from M.P. Govt. After Indian Idol in February 2005, she never left Mumbai and decided to leave a mark in the music industry. She has done stage shows all over India and also in Bangladesh and Thailand. Currently she is staying with her mother and brother and is financing all the family expenses. She feels she has become more matured as a singer. Prajakta was the talented and pretty contestant who stole the hearts of every Indian.
