The two almost got married and they finally danced at the Ambani wedding which makes it evident that Abhishek and Karisma do share a warm and friendly equation now.
But, it wasn't the same back then. If we are to go by the rumors, the former couple met at Shweta Bachchan Nanda's marriage and finally there was a spark between the two. Karisma was a few years older to him, but that did not change anything between them. In fact, the two went on to be strong who didn't seem to quiver anytime soon. The duo dated for five years before officially announcing their engagement.
Although, some things do ruff up the relationships of the best and the storm was about to hit the former couple.
According to the reports in Cosmopolitan, Babita was worried about Bachchan's financial status and crunch looming over their heads at that point in time. Moreover, her daughter was not only a known star but also earning pretty well. Babita wanted to guarantee a financially sound future for her daughter and thus, decided to intervene and call off the engagement.
Now, the two have finally buried the hatched and recently and moved on in life, both Abhishek Bachchan and Karisma Kapoor's father, Randhir Kapoor attended JP Dutta's birthday bash. They even jetted off to Jaipur to celebrate the birthday bash. Moreover, the chivalrous Abhishek also took care of Randhir while coming out of the airport and also made sure that he gets into his car safely. Abhishek Bachchan's caring gesture certainly won a million hearts.
