He seems... calm. More stable, aware, truly self-confident, at peace with himself and his life, and actually happy. It's like he's now genuinely being himself. I think he was right about the authenticity that one should display. He was trying too hard to please the audience in the sense that he was doing what is considered right, before. Not denying that he was brilliant in a lot of his previous films (duh) but there's something that is really attractive, and sexy, if I may add, about him since Super 30. Onscreen and offscreen. Even in his tweets he's more playful and laughs a lot more. I don't know if you all get what I'm saying or if you feel the same way; I'm not sure if it's about aura or comfort but it's just sooo pleasing as a fan to see him like this ❤️ I just hope that the peace in his life stays and that he tries to do more films per year as he said he would.

Yup. 20 years since the well packaged 'package' was delivered! I'm now focusing on unwrapping every bit with each film :) thanks for the motivation https://t.co/SjrjgdEg8Z">https://t.co/SjrjgdEg8Z

lol that didn't come out right! either way, HR thinks the same! and I have been feeling it too! I like that he's more intuitive in his "acting" now than a few years ago.. I think he got a bit too rehearsed somewhere in between somehow. Now comes the "unwrapping" 👏

Hrithik and Tiger have such an endearing bond ❤ No wonder their on-screen chemistry was so well-received.

Just watched the movie. The movie was okay not that great in terms of script, story, editing. HrithikRoshan was awesome,.. flawless. Not only did he looked so so hot but his acting, dance was too good. Tiger was also pretty decent.. better than his previous movies. Vani was nice.. small role but was decent. Action sequences were pretty well directed. One or two action sequences were illogical and repetitive. Locations were amazing. The movie drags towards the end. Lost my interest in action towards the end and i was becoming restless. Sometimes i feel why cant the directors watch their movies properly after putting in so much effort. Yes ...i did feel a lot of work was done but when you deliver you need to see how the overall finesse is... it should be impactful, chilling, thrilling and not become a drag. It could have been amazing if this was seen. A little bit tweaking of the story, script, editing could have taken the movie to a whole new level.

BREAKING: War’s Record-Breaking Box Office Run Helps It To Earn More Number Of Screens

YRF’s Warstarring Hrithik Roshan & Tiger Shroff opened to bumper response all over on Wednesday and recorded historic Day 1. War crossed the opening day record of Thugs Of Hindostan despite getting lesser screens than that film and it was an achievement of its kind.

The film got fewer screens on Day 1 as it clashed with two more films Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy & Joker. It was a totally one-sided result in the clash, hence the distributors and exhibitors have decided to increase the release size of War from Day 3 i.e. Friday.

Reportedly, War will be played in 150-200 more screens from Friday onwards thanks to the phenomenal response it has received from all over.

Well, the increase in screens might not be big but it will surely mean that the film will reach out to more audience now and that’s the main purpose of every filmmaker.

War earned 53.35 crores on Day 1 and 24.35 crores on Day 2 which takes the two day business to 77.70 crores.

Talking about how he feels after War getting a record-breaking start, Hrithik Roshan said, “It is an incredible response to our hard work and I’m truly grateful to the audience for loving our film. When we decided to make ‘War‘, we were clear that we were attempting to do something that has never been done in Indian cinema and we went all out to make it happen. So, it’s hugely validating to see the fantastic response of the people enjoying our action entertainer in the theatres. As an actor, you live and thrive for such moments and I’m truly blessed that our film is getting such overwhelming love. I congratulate my partner in crime Tiger, my director Sid, YRF for its belief and the incredible effort to make this film spectacular, Vaani and everyone associated with this film at this incredible moment. The entire team worked really really hard on War and it’s amazing to see this kind of euphoria around our movie,”

Movie Review

Firstly, kind request - please dont accuse me of trolling, every time I wanna say something you all always dismiss me saying I am trolling. cant be a troll 24/7 so leave me alone.....I watched the movie and it was good! Was it "wow" ? - No. In fact I felt like there were many many potholes/weaknesses in the movie.

The story is not new, the execution is not that new either - and the so called "twist" is outdated, boring and humorous. I was really disappointed because I was expecting a "thriller" and this movie is not a thriller. Some of the action sequences are very boring and I didn't find anything new in them. There's a scene with Hrithik on an airplane - my god the screen shakes so much in that scene that it gave me a headache. What were they thinking? A lot of reviews said the action is international level. I dont really think so. Everything they showed I've seen before and I've seen it done better. There is nothing new. Film has lots of "locations" which get boring too after a certain point.

Jai Jai Shiv Shankar- huge disappointment. What a huge opportunity the makers had, and what we get is an half-ass effort with no "wow" choreography moments. I thought there would be a dance-off, face-off or some kind of jugalbandi but we literally got NOTHING.

Performances - Hrithik Roshan def steals the show! His character has a smugness to him which I haven't really seen him play before. Tiger Shroff does good too. Although He looked really "small" to me though. I honestly thought Tiger was 6 feet tall lol but sometimes Hrithik towers over him and you're like...oh wow lol. Vaani was actually good in her 10 min role.

The basic problem I had with the movie is that they had all the ingredients but at some point you can see/feel the weak execution. The film does not grip you, it lacks finesse and its not refined. A lot of wow moments end up being yawns. The movie needed a stronger script and better director! I personally feel Sidharth Anand as a director was better in his previous films. I feel like they made this movie in a rush and did not think it through.

Also, Dhoom-2 had a better story than War and better execution lol even Bang Bang was better actually!!!

I'd give the movie 1/5 and Hrithik 5/5

WAR ! ( - a disappoint-er ! )

One of the world's best dancers -Check

One of the world's best martial artists-Check

A humongous budget and production values- Check

And yet,the product that comes out of this is a bloated, idiotic actioner that fails in its basic purpose. The makers don't seem to know how to shoot and edit an action sequence. Despite being a direct lift from the Mission Impossible movies and the F and F franchise, the action in this one is overlong and utterly incoherent. Even the much awaited Hrithik vs Tiger showdown is a haphazardly edited affair.

The dialogues are trite and major parts of the movie drag. The insistence of the makers to add some awkward family sentiments extend the runtime. The only solace are the 2 musical numbers and HR's screen presence. But these can only carry a movie so far.

The suspense and twist made me wonder why on earth Tiger took up this role. The budget is gargantuan and it shows in the locales and production values.

If you've never seen an action movie in your life, chances are you'll find it tolerable. For the rest of us, go watch Tom Cruise dangle off a plane and look badass while doing it. Why opt for a sasta desi version

Rating:2/5(Poor)

And yeah, as HR promises the audience in the end, War is still On. Bhaago BC!!!
