Was Dream girl over appreciated by critics?

So I watched it finally and honestly it made me laugh like a comedy sitcom without any logic so in a way it was entertaining like mindless masala movie that are thrashed by critics like anything but dream girl was appreciated ..now I m surprised.

Movie had weakest storyline , they had amazing concept they wasted it. They did not explain what was so spl in Pooja at least they could have shown us one full fledged Pooja conversation with each character to judge that.Neither did they give any proper ending to all Pooja lovers so I find it open ended.Screenplay was so weak, things were happening ainvayi on screen without any logic and reason. 🤪

At the end , I did enjoy when I was in theatre but after movie was ended I find out that something was missing and I ended up wasting my money. So , why critics appreciate it this much?

Film criticism in India is mostly about politics, perception, and PR these days. Not that it ever was this organized. But honestly, Indian film criticism isn't really substantial at an analytical level.
