I don’t know if it’s Paridhi or KK. After that intimacy interview of Paridhi, I don’t know what to think. Whatever it is, It’s just unfair for the viewer. When you go to Twitter, you realize there is a huge Hanita fanbase even if there might not be in the forum. Lots of people love Hanita as a couple and want to see more of their romantic scenes esp after marriage. Idk if the writers are deliberately doing this and will gradually show us the romance developing, or if it is always gonna be just implied 🤔

@bold: I think that's what's happening here....the writers are deliberately doing this to make everything gradual....I really don't get why people are presuming it's Paridhi😕😆

The sense I get from the writers is that they want to depict things differently and challenge the typical expectations of how scenes are shown between a couple.....which is why they showed the implied intimacy between H and B the next morning by showing her faili hui bindi.

This is a couple that started off not even talking to each other directly....they talked to each other through other people.....bol de apni Mummy se, bol de apne Hanuman uncle se😆.....that is the basis of their equation....it's always taken the route of indirect, implied nuances.

Maybe people's expectations rose a lot after Dheere Jalna😆....but I think the writers will keep mixing things up with HB. They like to go contrary to expectations. So it's fully possible that they will explore passion in a different way down the line.

Yeh time nahin tha to dive into focus on deep passionate scenes because other issues have to be worked through first.

Me too, afraid of tomato aur eggs ke mar khan se Bachna Chatha tha, especially when it comes to little closeness scenes also she feels hesitant with Anirudh, and in the pottery scene also she avoid so much eye contact with Anirudh. Because of the Anirudh that scene stood out so much romantic Because of Anirudh acting only we feel need more romantic scenes, please don’t hit me. Just whatever I observed

I've seen Paridhi's work before in Jodha Akbar, so speaking from that context, I'd say this is her acting style in general....she's played these characters who are somewhat stiff. Jodha was a Queen, so the held back body language fit there in that context......Babita is a very repressed character, so Paridhi's acting style manages to work with that too in terms of body language.

I personally don't expect Aniruddh level ka caliber of acting from her.....lol but she does suit Babita's character IMO......and she's done well in many scenes in PB....in particular, she brings out that naivete to Babita very well sometimes....lol ....the "main itni bhi achhi nahin hoon" wala scene comes to mind.

It's the writing that really muddles up her character....would be hard for even a more accomplished actor to portray the twisted and bitter nature of Babita's character....she stores and stores things inside and then bursts out abruptly...that's Babita.....I'm not sure if anyone else in her place would have been able to make us sympathize with Babita when the writing doesn't want her to grow yet.

Paridhi is not giving those feels, because she is herself disinterested in playing Babita's role. Hence the weirdness....

LOL that was not Paridhi, that was Babita's character that was avoiding eye contact because she was so overwhelmed. For a woman who's been repressed for so long, that reaction made perfect sense.....one cannot expect HS and Babita to react the same way in situations....they are different people, with different personalities and different baggage.

That is one reason I was a bit surprised to find Pradhi had a fan following bigger than Annirudh. I love his and Ashnoor’s acting. They can talk with their eyes and body language. Pradhi has to mouth dialogues or make expressions like angry or sad for audience to know what she is feeling- like the interaction with Lovely after terrace scene. I couldnt tell she was upset, uncomfortable or ashamed before she started talking. Her body is always on attention and she just reads lines. In Ashnoor and Annirudh you can see the slumping of shoulder, the defiant pose when they are angry, facial expressions and the eyes and know what they are feeling before they utter a word.

Paridhi had a bigger fan following as a K series female lead + playing the famous role of Jodha. Aniruddh hasn't had that kind of a vehicle, and this show really is his first major exposure of this scale which thankfully has given him some recognition. He was famous for YARO but the audience was different. With HS he has reached the hearts of a wider demographic.

I don't want to talk about Paridhi's acting because people here get mad. She's better than many of the other actresses on ITV but I just think that Aniruddh and Ashnoor as just so spectacular that they outshine her. Frankly, I haven't seen much growth in her after all these months on the show, which I have seen with Ashnoor for example.

The recent scene when Babita was talking about her insecurities regarding coming close to HS fell flat and I missed out on feeling Babita's pain to an extent. My head acknowledged what she was saying but it didn't touch my heart, whereas even someone like Sandhya ji with a few moments on screen takes a scene to another level.

Yeah, she needs to work on her crying/sobbing skills though, like in the scene when she admitted to NB that she loved HS or when she was sobbing after HS told her she could cancel the wedding if she wanted to. Just not convincing.

I think the difference is that while the other actors live their characters, heck even the actor playing Khatri, Paridhi acts. If she were on another show we may not have found her any different from the rest of her cast there, but in this show it does stick out.

I agree on the point that you can see the acting effort in many of her scenes rather than a living of the character. On the flip side though, as I said, because her character is so repressed, those emotions coming out in a disjointed form fit within the larger context.

I actually don’t even expect her to steal any of her scenes 😆....it’s enough for me as long as she fits the character on a general level. And she has made me feel for Babita’s plight from time to time.

Acting wise jo bhi ho, chemistry wise she fits into the trio. She has good chemistry with both Ashnoor and Aniruddh....and that is more critical for the overall story.

Chemistry is good, otherwise we wouldn't be interested in her relationship with Minnie or HS.
