We use the word blackmail a lot in normal parlance but in reality there is no crime under the Indian Penal Code called blackmailing.

Instead section 503 of the IPC penalises something called criminal intimidation. A person commits criminal intimidation when he threatens another with any injury to his person, reputation or property or to the person, reputation or property if anyone in whom that person is interested, with intent to cause alarm to that person or to cause that person to do any act which he is not legally bound to do or to omit to do any act which that personal is legally entitled to do, as a means of a avoiding the execution of such threats.

The above is a literal copy of the section. Sound familiar? So Ekta please feel free to whitewash as much as you want and make Anupre but especially Prerna the punching was of everyone .... but facts are facts.

I am closing this as you can tweet this to ekta to get her facts right but this is a forum to discuss shows that have no resembelance to real life or are based on logic and therefore there is no room to discuss actual legalities medical procedures etc wrt the show.

I am sure indian law also talks abt the punishment for trying to do intentional self harm to frame someone else etc etc too ...

You can debate this in Debate Mansion forum if u like
