But go back and watch the way he wiped her tear. OMG, that was something else. Even the way AD uses his fingers for various gestures is mesmerizing.

No but what he did actually makes total total sense. If you remember HS' dialogue when Babita was shrieking ... he had talked about the beast inside men that they cover with the gentlemanly air, it's buried deep inside every man.

Ashok himself knew he had done that because his male ego had taken a different form altogether. It made complete sense to me. After they moved to the haveli, Ashok hated her living with HS, because he saw in HS what he couldn't be - responsible, decent, and honorable. You think he didn't know that HS had loved his late wife and drowned his sorrows in alcohol? Everyone did.

Wiping a tear and their expressions changing had more feel to it.
