I wish they had ran things in parallel too but I doubt that's gonna happen. Right now, Minnie's going to take center stage for everything while Hanita and their coupled and individual problems take a back seat. 🤔

Nah nah. For kids, don't parents say nice things to please them? Does this mean they don't have their own desires? Nope. Aisa nahi hota. Not reading too much in that scene cause I felt even if they said it, they didn't mean it then, to actually break off. Mini comes first yes, but marriage todd denge, no. They were just cutely assuring her. They were just babying Mini there.

What NB meant was, she feels that they've agreed upon the alliance for Mini. But that's not the case. I don't understand where this comes from? They obviously like each other very much and Mini is a very important and additional package to it. Don't know if they wanna change the narrative but I never felt that this decision was for Mini's sake.

Haan now, what NB was saying - that Mini is the only and a very nazuk thread binding these two. If either of them upsets their relationship with Mini then the whole marriage will get uprooted. Or if Mini will distances herself from them, then it won't work. But I still can't see that in any way.

Basically, HS and Babita need to develop a strong base independent of Mini which is okay, fine, noted.

The characters were hashed out a certain way, but recently they've just been going off in a different tangent.

HS was so attuned to Minnie's emotions. Now he can't understand his Veer Balika? Doesn't look back/around for her even once during his wedding? I actually expected her to help him with sehra bandi or put like a tika or something.

Babita spent her entire life basically being everything to Minnie can now not see past her fake smiles or even Minnie wiping off tears slyly? Or see through the jokingly said aakri baar comments?

NB was putting all her efforts into Hanita realising and accepting their feelings for each other, and NOW she's worried about Minnie? At the very last moment?

Adjustment issues would've been understandable, but some actions of the characters are quite unlike them nowadays.

Just my opinion, no offence to anybody.

Aww sweetie. You needn't be afraid. I'm not saying that you shouldn't marry, but some aspects of marriage ain't that bright. I stated how my Grandma still takes my Mom to be an outsider, and this is something very real and I have subconsciously accepted this fact and also that somewhere I'll meet the same fate. It does happen. So what? I'll go on to mention that my dad has unconditionally supported my mom, even whilst going against his own mother (and maybe this pisses her off the most). They have always stood up for each other against the world.

Also my grandfather is extremely supportive of my mother.

Everything is a mix and match. Can't one dimensional-ise life, eh!

I see this as Babita taking the centre stage and balancing out her and HS' relationship along with HS and Mini's. If they show HS and Mini are one perfect issue-less father daughter then that's unreal too.

in sll this, i think we all missed the small moment, where mickey preet come and say the wait is only for the dulha dulhan and mni says, are you ready babes. and babita still loloks at mini and she blinks.

this shows how much mini and babes mean to each other.

edit: and even after she put the varmala around HS she looked at mini.

I'd agree. The changes are too drastic and sudden and almost seem forced.

Specially with NB being all ominous, Mini being left out like that without reason.

That's what I thought with the way Babita spoke but I wasn't too sure.

I don't know why Naeem Bi feels that way. She clearly knows that they both love each other a lot despite the emotional scars they have. Minnie is as you said a part of the package but she's not the only reason.

Hanita will never hurt Minnie deliberately. Even in the initial days Minnie has inadvertently gotten hurt but it wasn't because they were maliciously targeting her. Besides, Babes would have never gotten married to HS if she knew there was even a remote chance that he would hurt her. She has seen first hand how he has gone out of his way to protect and help her. Even when he had no business doing so, but he did because he wanted to. Because he just loved her. And Babes is Minnie's mother. She will never hurt her on purpose. Inadvertently yes, but never out of malicious intent.

Hanita are more than capable of building a strong foundation for themselves, and I'm was very eagerly looking forward to that. I don't know if it'll be done properly now. 😒

Yes but I didn't like it much, that Babes needed Mini's signal to Garland the man to be, of her life. Still makes me feel these two are heavily dependent on each other.
