Apkgk was hit bcoz of kat. Rk had yet to give clean hit before it. Kat was the main draw ofcourse their chemistry too

Ranbir had a great performance in APKJK though, carried the movie beautifully. And had a hand in its success, but the star power was Katrina. Also the music was a huge draw.

why not?? Ranbir had gained a lot of new fans, post Wake Up Sid, APKJK, BAG and Rocket Singh, yes most of those movies weren't hits, but it gained him a good list of ardent followers especially young girls and boys, so yes he had a hand. On top of that, he had a great performance, so overall he did had a huge hand in its success.

The movie had many factors from Ajay-Jha combo attracting a set of fans, Ajay droving in a decent numbers of the single screen and B/C center numbers, to Katrina's involvement creating huge hype, Ranbir's youth draw and also the Ranbir, Katrina and Sallu rumors going around created a lot of hype during those days.

Side note: Katrina lost a loads of fans due to this relationship though, I remember many Sallu fans myself personally post breaking up/cheating(well weren't still not sure what happened) Sallu with Ranbir, many started hating her, before she was apple of their eye lol.

Katrina got bashed so hard back then 😞. There would be threads made by Bhai fans calling her p***nstar and what not(also DP fans bashed her). It was hard to be a Kat fan back then.

Who cares about Bhai fans, a sweet rebuttal that Bhai ka khada nahi hota ishiliye ladkiya usko chorr deti is enough to trigger them for the rest of the day.

I can't even🤣🤣. I agree with you though. Some of his fans really do take every comment or event related to Bhai personally.
