Shahid is a star..Ayushmann isn't. At least not yet. He is a good actor but doesnt have that star aura

Also Kabir Singh got an opening of 20 Crores, and there is no one other than Shahid who can take credit for that. Ayushmann films open below 10 Crores.

I think it’s unfair to compare Shahid with Ayushmann. Shahid made his debut in 2004 and Ayushmann made his debut in 2012. He is few years senior than Ayushmann. Shahid is a star kid and Ayushmann is an outsider that started his acting career in TV. Shahid did many more movies than Ayushmann. Despite 3 blockbusters, Shahid gave many flops. His filmography is filled with flops. Most Shahid’s hit movies had top heroines like DP, PC and Kareena while Ayushmann didn’t work with any top heroines yet. He also dated top heroine Kareena and he was linked up with many top heroines, which was an advantage to his career while Ayushmann didn’t have that advantage. When Shahid was at Ayushmann’s stage, he was nowhere near Ayushmann. So I think it’s kind of unfair to compare Ayushmann with Shahid. HR and Salman are both top stars but you can’t compare them because they entered in Bollywood at different times.
