Movie having most impact on Bollywood.

Blue Ice gave me this idea. Which movie had the most impact in Bollywood filmmaking?

I would say "Dil Chahta Hain" ... when it came out I remember everyone talking about it including their style and swag!

I would say bhag milkha bhag. Tabse star log biopic pe biopic diye ja rahe hai

Dil Chahta Hai is certainly the most influential movie of the last 2 decades. Movies like KHNH, Hum Tum, Salaam Namaste, Wake up Sid, ZNMD and so on all owe something to DCH.

DCH was the turning point.for Hindi cimema

Dabangg had very big impact on me personally. (Favorite movie ever)

Of this list I’d say ddlj was the most ripped off movie. So many movies that came after wanted to be like it. Dil Chata Hai had a certain style that was unique. An the fact that the film lacked the usual Bollywood melodrama that a film like DDLJ for example had was also cool. It was very realistic.

And the Taal Wala taklu guy crushing on an older woman. 🤣

It's a fun movie.

DDLJ did not start (or restart rom-coms) it was QSQT

Same way, it's not Dabangg which restarted the masala trend, that would be Ghajini or else put Wanted if there is too much of Aamir 😃

Also, Paan Singh Tomar and The Dirty Picture came before Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.

So, that leaves with Sholay and DCH, the ultimate trendsetters 😎
