For a country, which is ideal? Practicing protectionism on a state/province/sector level or "nationalization"( idea from "Globalization")?

The son/daughter of the soil can only decide who comes in and who goes out or it's opportunity for all whoever can grab it?

but .. but.. but... there are some nations which constitionally protect the "Son of the Soil" theory

Article 370 of the Indian constitution, which is of a temporary nature(and if you have known anything about reservations in India, you know temporary in India means permanent 😆 ) grants special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Article 370 virtually made Jammu and Kashmir a country within a country, with its own flag, emblem, constitution and Sadr-i-Riyasat (Head of State). The right of the state to have a separate head of state was lost in the 1960s.

This article specifies that except for Defence, Foreign Affairs and Communications, the Indian Parliament needed the State Government's concurrence for applying all other laws. Thus the state's residents lived under a separate set of laws, including those related to citizenship, ownership of property, and fundamental rights, as compared to other Indians.

Similar protections for unique status exist in tribal areas of India including those in Himachal Pradesh, Arunachal Pradesh, and Nagaland.

I hope this post of yours wasnt in reference to something that is happening in India 😉

Note: Above cited data can be freely obtained(in almost the exact content), most easily by searching "article 370" in the friendly wiki meaning --> in S I M P L E English--> the above data is mostly plaguirized from wiki

Bhoomiputras....is the first thing I thought of when I read the subject matter.

Bhoomiputras is what the native Malaysians refer to themselves as.....and have the highest ranking in terms of the other minority communities such as Chinese and Indian.

It so smacks of segregation.
