Why Ila separated her daughter from her father in the "The Lunchbox"?

In the Lunchbox movie, Ila in the end was ready to end her mundane marriage because of her husband being not interested in her and having an extra-marital affair. But wasn't she doing the same thing with Saajan via letters. So what right she has got to take her daughter and run away when she's no different than her husband? Because Ila's daughter is her husband's daughter too. Him having an extra-marital affair doesn't take away his rights as a father. Was Ila being selfish here?

Well as an unpopular opinion, I found the movie very boring. Though I watched it in theatre I only remember how boring it was and wanted it to just end. I forgot what happened in the movie already. I hope you guys enjoyed it.

Which means her husband has been physically intimate with his girlfriend. Ila did no such thing. The only thing she did was to try and meet Saajan for once. That doesn't amount to affair. It's pretty much like how we converse in the forum without knowing each other.

It was only when she got to know about the affair that she thought screw it let me lead my life the way I want and that's when she takes the step of meeting Saajan.

She was ready to move to Bhutan with Saajan. That was an affair, and even if it wasn't, she has no right to take away a daughter from her father even if he's having an affair.
