Why didn't Ileana D'cruz become more popular

Did she get ignored because of the constant star kids circlejerk?

Honestly a pretty good actress and she can do a variety of roles.

I wondered the same and I think that’s because of her off screen persona. She falls into the same category as Sid Malhotra, Arjun, Kriti, etc. She has no star/outstanding qualities. To become a star in BW (and in Hollywood actually) you need to have at least one outstanding quality and an aggressive pr team (and relationships) rather than being overall average/ good. Deepika had outstanding looks and a famous boyfriend, same for Ash, same for Katrina. Ranveer didn’t have the looks but had outstanding people/entertaining skills and could act.

She comes across as a bit stuck up/aloof and doesn’t mingle with the lot and likes he privacy so there is no reason why she actually should be more famous. You need to sacrifice part of yourself if you want to be the it thing.

lack of good movies and almost non existent PR.

Lacks charm and personality.

I don't find her that good looking or such a great actress. She is very mediocre.

No sugar daddy or Boyfriend unlike many others, Ajay got her some good films but later she got married and even that connection was lost.

Now that She is divorced, she will get movies again, just wait and watch.

I think she is pretty reclusive off-screen and does not mingle with the who's who of Bollywood i.e. prefers staying in her own close circle.

I find her very beautiful and a good actress. She was faultless in Barfi. I wish she gets good roles again.

I thought she was gorgeous in barfi, and deserved good roles after that. But she lacks a persona off screen. I dont think she is someone who is either relatable, and her personality is not immensely attractive either. She is also not a stunning model like say a deepika, katrina.

She is better looking than DP n has fantastic body n a better actress too...lol

She dint shine bcoz of her lack of PR, private person, she never attends parties or award function, was a loyal gf n then wife.. Bt now she is a divorcee n already has good amount of PR articles coming out, she is gone get more movies now n shine❤️

While I don't get what DP has to do with this, I do agree on the rest and hope that she gets more opportunities. But with all the new star kids stealing so much spotlight and movies, it will be difficult
